  1. the only reason im saying buy an rb20det is because the rb20e are much rarer, therefore harder to get the bits to convert it, sure you can get a custom manifold, but what about the ecu and engine specific parts?
  2. yea should look good, sure the heat coming out of the vent wont hurt the gauge and wires?
  3. lol home jobs look cheap? no waiz! this is the rear caliper on my old skyline that i painted at home imo it looks fken good, but i cant do this red, the only reason this one was red is because the car was white
  4. there dosent appear to be any trim fabric in the photo of the door, and there would only be a rubber seal on the door, not the door trim :S
  5. Hey all, with all my cars im a big fan of spraying the calipers instead of leaving them the stock grey colour, but ive hit a snag, what colour calipers suite the burgundy colour skyline? nothing i can think of suits the rest of the car colour, id love to do bright red but im not sure that will sit well with the rest of the car being burgundy. what do you guys think?
  6. 0 at idle? bit low for idle isnt it? at idle mine shows 1.4 kg, which is just under 20psi??!?!
  7. whats the benefit of this mod?
  8. dont buy wheels, and save for a gtst but more accurately and on topic, i would stay away with chrome (only cos i hate chrome full stop) bronze wouldnt be bad or even white. and dont u dare do black on black, ew
  9. imo, all need for speed games suck
  10. try upgrading ur graphics card drivers
  11. i heard the first one was good, but extremely brief, can anyone verify this?
  12. ok so what you guys are realy trying to say is, that this engine in the car im looking at will be fine?
  13. here bruv http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Sa...-Parts-f12.html
  14. kewl guys, just what i wanted to hear, but are these figures at the wheel or motor? im asking because of a car im looking at had a bit of a flogging, stock internals, but had aftermarket turbo, ecu etc the works, but just no internal work, and he was on 275rwkw, im just hoping that the engine will still be in good nick after having all this power running through it thats all. the engine is now running on stock gear again, factory setup.
  15. is this power you speak of at the wheels or engine?
  16. hey guys, this might be a bit BROAD to ask but just out of curiosity, how much power can an rb25det engine take (without any internal work) before bits start breaking internally? how much boost? etc cheers
  17. i had the exact same problem as the OP, so i installed an ebc, and it seemed to hold its boost a lot better. from what i learnt trying to figure this out just like the OP is, i think it was because at around 10 ish the f/a mixture changes and that effects the output which your turbo/wastegate dosnt understand nor see, so it overboosts. but another thing i remember, was that the stock springs in the actuator become weak after a while and dont seem to hold as stable? does that sound right?
  18. that thing must weigh a tonne! would it be better to just buy a fiber glass lip? i can see it snapping off the plastic front bar after a few nasty bumps edit: i just read that the wood was a mould
  19. +1 just buy an r34 lol they will look better than a conversion ever will but each to there own
  20. +1 for tires and stiff as f**k suspension <3 Tein
  21. sounds like a job for WD40
  22. well, if your colour car is a metallic colour, good luck, no matter what you do you wont match it properly. if its a normal colour, you would best go over 1cm to merge the colour, otherwise your going to have this circle of where youve sprayed, best way to do it is flicking the spray can from left to right to get a little bit of paint everywhere, so it evens out better.
  23. good luck finding a genuine nismo one, and if you do KAAACHING try these sites for normal bodykits http://psiparts.com.au http://justjap.com/store/home.php?cat=261
