hi guys, this isnt a skyline related question buy hopefuly you can help me out i have a non turbo vl and im looking at a turbo kit for it, so i had a couple of questions regarding a turbo conversion this particular kit consists of... inlet and exhaust manifold injectors and fuel rail dump pipe and exhaust cooler and pipes which is being sold privatly, anyway, is there anything else i need to buy to make the conversion complete? will the non turbo stock vl components of the engine and gearbox be able to handle a turbo? theres alot of bits and peices in the pic that i was sent showing all the parts of the kit, take a look and tell me if theres anything missing that i need for this to work. thanks

ok, well i sold my 33 a long time ago, but i realy enjoyed it, im swaying toward the 180 because i want something light that you can throw around, plus its going to be my dailey, so i think the 300s are out of my choices, so that leaves me with either a 180 or a 32, and i think the 180s are a bit better looking (imo) unless ofcourse i find a cheap 33 somewhere lol, in that case i would just get a 33! cheers guys

hey guys, im looking to buy a new car around the 7k price range and im looking at the following cars to buy r32, 180sx or 300zx turbo of course, i have had an r33 and i loved it, has anyone driven all these cars? or have driven an r33 and either one of these cars? id like to know which is the best buy, aka, the 300zx is probably the fastest, but it might not drive as smoothly or handle as well as a 180. i havnt driven any of the above, so if someone could tell me a bit about their experience with their car, that would be great! cheers

hey all, im wrecking a 92 honda eg civc vtec vti, all parts except... engine rocker cover body panels right hand light and indicator ...are intact car was rolled, so rocker cover is cracked, but engine seems fine, havnt started it yet incase theres oil in the spark plugs or watever, will start for sure with new rocker cover and the oil drained and changed, the car wasnt hit at the front, so the engine hasnt moved. the engine is a d15b vtec model gearbox still works fine, its a reco box that is 2 months old, works perfectly, a good buy for someone looking for one the interior is all good, its the rare tweed purple and grey interior have the origional honda momo steering wheel and boss kit in good nick apart from those main parts that i can think off, have everything else except the above mentioned items at the top except body panels will accept most offers on parts as im trying to get rid of the car to buy a new one spread the word to your honda friends! pm me or sms me on 0432 677 253

my exhaust is mostly stock, except the last owner has put a 3 inch pipe after the dump and front pips till the stock axel pipe/muffler, would this cause the no back pressure? ive run a injector cleaner through, but i dont think there blocked because when your accelorating its fine, it only seems to do it on idle

it was running a bit rough, it would go up and down slighty (the revs) and it also paused the revs like brrrr brrrrrrrrrrrrrbrrrrbrrrrrrrr un eavenly, should i close the gap? to .8 or something? i have no mods apart from a pod ta

i had a quick glance at my coilpacks today in an effort to fix the un even idle it has, with a slight missing problem pictures are worth a thousand words, is this normal? i have 1 coilpack with some sort of grey cylender end on it and the rest have a spring where it touches the spark plug, would this cause my un even idle?

Hi all, im just pulling my spark plugs out today and noticed the guy who serviced the car has put the following spark plugs in NGK BKR5E 11 now from my knowledge this means that its heat range is 5 and the spacing is 1.1 my question is, is this ok for a stock (apart from pod filter) RB25DET R33? if not, what should i be putting in there? can i use the current spark plugs and close the gap? im also having a slight miss firing problem on idle, can this be the reason why? any help is great ta!

hi guys, my idle is being a bit funny at the moment, it seems a bit lumpy, it sounds like its missing a tiny bit sort of like... brrrrrbrrrbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrbrrrrrrrrbrrrrrrrrrrr un eavenly lol, it dosent realy affect usage and its smooth (i think) while driving, but as soon as you stop and idle it starts doing the missing or lumpyness. i know its not normal, what can cause this? spark plugs being the wrong spacing? i dont think its dirty injectors as ive run a injector cleaner through, is there anything else i can try to fix it? could it be something realy small and overlooked? or is there something large in the works causing this thats going to set me back some money to fix? any help is apreaciated. ta

ok, all good and well till i just got back from a short drive, its under 1 now, which is odd because this morning it was at 2 and 4 :S is my engine about todrop out? bearing in mind its a fairly hot day, does that effect pressure?

lol yea my iphone dousnt type as awsome as a keybourd, wrong keys get pressed yea i think its oil pressure, its the guage on the far right in the cluster

hey all, does anyone know any quick ways to increase engine compression? wen cold my car is just under half at 2kg/cm2 but wen warn it gets to halfway or 4kg/cm2 is this normal? if not how can i increase the conpression? cheers

Its a clean 1992 EG VTI civic hatch import from japan with new satin gun metal paint job, rare D15B vtec engine, 5 speed manual gearbox, rare jdm interior (worth $2,500 by itself) this thing is great on fuel with $35 to 450km, brand new tyres on 16inch bronze wheels. everything is in perfect working order, the suspension, gearbox etc Apart from the wheels, paint job and sports muffler, the car has been kept perfectly original right down to the original honda momo steering wheel and honda floor mats. the car has 170 xxx genuine kays on it, for its age, and i am the third owner, its fantastic. The car has been serviced regularly and treated with respect. This car would suite someone looking for a rare car to keep through the future where its value will stay or simply anyone looking for a daily car that has a bit of go it with the vtec cam timing. im looking for around $5000 or swap with an r32 or r33 gtst with cash their way. hey guys, flogging off 2 parts, pickup from narre warren, vic white mspec? side skirts, in good nik, from memory one has hairline crack in wheel arch part, not visible when looking at them when on the car, could use a new pantjob, there stock white - $100 stock r33 white rear bar, has small paint crack, not its a paint crack and the structure is still perfect. - $50 pm me
