  3. Ok as stated in the title, im pondering about the idea of a skyline dyi and tutorial website, its basically a user submitted website for users to submit do it yourself guides and tutorials for skyline modifications. I hope this thread isnt deleted because of the dyi section on sau, this isnt a cheap shot to steal traffic, but simply a site for more detailed information perhaps useful to the skyline driver. As its still in the thought process im looking for people to team up with, to produce, run, and manage this website. Tasks involved are, submitting content (at the beginning) clean and neaten up user submitted content and monitor submitted content for spam, advertisements and unwanted data. If we decide on a attached forum, then moderation and administration will be needed to. I haven’t decided on the attached forum yet but perhaps something the new staff and i can discuss. I am currently paying for hosting and a domain name, so no payments are necessary. This is not a paid roll, but a hobby on the side. We will be using "joomla" content management system, so if you are familiar with it then that’s a bonus, but generally looking for people who are content savvy, and generally switched on when it comes to a good quality website. If you have spare time after work and find yourself watching tv, why not take up this offer and help create this website. If your interested please pm me, or email me - [email protected] Alternatively you can ad me to msn messenger - [email protected] Cheers
  4. ok well, im not realy into racing, this is my day to day car which I like to give a squirt every now and then, im after something reliable, the ball bearing seems good to me because from what im hearing, they are reliable but arnt good for on off spooling, which im fine with because i dont race, im quite willing to spend the extra dollers if it means reliability, but im not willing to muck around with any of the car, so do you guys think i should wait untill these new garrett turbos come out? or go with something cheaper like a KKR or another above mentioned brand? but i cant stress enough, i do not want to replace my turbo in a years time lol. what do u guys reckon?
  5. Hey all, just curious, is there any small turbo uprades out there that you don’t need to alter much to the rest of the car? I have a fmic, pod, 3" exhaust, 3"dump. Can u buy any small turbos (preferably from garrett) where I can just wack it in, retune it, and off i go? even if its the same size turbo, but a roller bearing one would seffice. cheers

  10. damit, last time i asked that question to somone, they said, you shouldnt do it because you should need some restriction in your exhaust, but im running 12 pound and at about 4-5 thou, it flattens off, now im not the most knowledgable in the art of turbos, but could the standard dump pipe be whats holding it back and making it flatten off?
