  1. Hi, Like the previous topic, I am looking for a reputable mechanic who is familiar with Skylines etc. on the South side of the river. I'm not stingy, I'm happy to pay good money for good work, I'm just not interested in yet another mechanic with the disinterested (urgh it's Japanese) look. In years past, it seems the consensus for the South Side was EFI Performance, but they're a bit too South for me. Thanks! (if it helps, my issues revolve around a leaky and noisy RB20 that has already had a head rebuilt)
  2. On one of my old s13's, I had a similar issue when i put my foot the whole way down. It turned out the MAF was failing. (that car was non-turbo though so i'm not sure if it applies here sorry)
  3. Use an angle grinder to grind the rear end of the ball joints flat. Then use a Pitman Arm Puller to push the joint out (pushing towards the front, from the rear). http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/Product/Toledo-Pitman-Arm-Puller-311279/SPO84277 I used a supercheap one like above, but I can't remember the exact width at the moment. I actually used the arm puller with a socket on the end to push the replacement bushes in as well, but can be done a number of ways. NOTE: Only reason I went this way was because I didn't have access to a bush press, nor the patience to remove the hub. Also a friend of mine did the grinding as I was hopeless at it. Hope this helps.

  5. R32 GTS-T Strut Braces I'm chasing front and rear strut braces to suit an R32 GTS-T. I can pick up if there is a seller around Brisbane, otherwise happy to pay postage. Thanks, Aaron
  6. This has happened to me in every import I've owned. When that rubber piece brakes, I just super glue a five cent piece over the ensuing hole. Otherwise that switch doesn't get depressed when you let the brake off.
  7. Thanks mate, much appreciated. I probably won't get to look at it until the weekend, but I'll definitely msg you if that's what I need.
  8. You're a legend. Thank you for all that info. I'll give all of that a go. Unfortunately it appears to be the low beams, but I'll still check it all out anyway.
  9. R32 GTS-T - Headlight Permanently On Last Friday, when I was leaving work, I discovered the remote wouldn't unlock my 32. The car is alarmed, so I didn't want to try opening it with the keys (in the end this didn't matter anyway) I assumed I had left my headlights on and decided to return the next morning with a mate to jump start it. When we returned the next day, we discovered the battery was completely dead. However, I hadn't left the headlights on so I was confused as to why the battery died. With keys in my pocket, we fitted the new battery and immediately my passenger side headlight turned on. (Normal headlight, not hi-beam or fog etc.) I was able to start the car, and flicking the headlight knob turned the drivers side headlight on. Flicking the knob in to the off position, the drivers side light turned off and the passenger side remained on. (This was not a problem previously, however I suspect it is the cause of the dead battery) For a few weeks prior to the battery dying, my passenger side indicator had been doing the 'double-speed' thing. To be honest, I had just ignored this. Now, that indicator works properly, but I still have the headlight problem. Has anyone encountered this before? Or knows where I should start looking? Thank you for reading, Aaron
  10. If you don't mind me asking, what front lip is that? Looks very shmick
  11. I think these might be what you're after. https://www.cartel-aus.com/product/rear-knucklearm-bushes-nissan-200sxskyline/
  12. Just wanted to let you know, this was a great read! You're car is one of the great sources of 32 and rb20 inspiration in this forum.
  13. R32 Adjustable Arms Hi guys, I'm chasing front castor rods, rear traction arms, rear camber arms and a Hicas Lock bar or Delete Kit for my 32. I am in Brisbane, so can pick up locally but will also pay postage for the right item. Thanks, Aaron
  14. WTB: R32 GTS-T Type M Front Bar Hi everyone, I'm chasing a Type-M Front bar to suit my R32, preferably in black but will take anything at this point. Located in Brisbane, but happy to pay postage for the right item. I've noticed these pop up occasionally in Perth or Adelaide but haven't found someone to ship to QLD yet. Pic of front bar below Thanks, Aaron
  15. It'll do 4K gaming for sure. But if you want a solid 60fps at all times, you won't be able to run them on Ultra detail. A good middle ground may be a 1440p monitor at 125hz+ which your 1070 should be able to do. Otherwise, Anfanee's suggestion is best bang for buck IMO. Can't wait to see pics of this rig when it's built.
  16. bump
  17. I use uMart all the time. Mainly because I work up the road from them, and secondly because they do the best prices (By Aus standards anyway, importing video cards from the US through Amazon is cheaper, but then you face international warranty issues, best to go with EVGA if you go down this route). Their customer service is 'blunt' and sometimes they say they have things in stock when they don't. For the most part though, I've had great experiences with them, including returning faulty equipment.
  18. Don't stress too much over the suggestions people have put in here. In the end, it's your money and if you want a beast, like your original item list then go for it. I have no idea where Cowboy1600 came from with calling a lot of the current suggestions unnecessary/useless. M.2 or SSD will still have your PC booting up in 5 seconds or so. The M.2 will just future proof you a little more with it's insane speeds. To provide context, I run my games off a 1TB Mechanical drive and my OS on an 256GB Samsung Pro SSD. It still boots up very fast, and don't have any issues with games taking too long to load. I would however, LOVE to run my games from an SSD if funds allowed. In regards to GPU, everyone has their opinion, and as suggested above, some people have bad experiences with brands everyone recommends, and vice versa. If something has worked for you, then stick with it. Personally, my preference would be MSI/Asus for Nvidia or Sapphire/MSI for AMD, I try to stay away from Gigabyte, but have spoken to many people who highly recommend them. Gainward/Zotac seem to be the cheap/China options of the PC Part world. Currently, and with the amount you seem willing to spend, the 1070 is a pretty safe bet. The 1080 would just be extra future proofing if you are that concerned. Another thing to note is that I bought an unlocked CPU (i5-4670K) and installed a Corsair H110 water cooling system, and have never seen the need to OC, and now consider the cooling system overkill. (It's never leaked, but has developed a 'rattle' until warm). The Hyper 212 Evo I had before would have sufficed. As for the RAM, I think the difference you'll notice between 4x4GB sticks and 2x8GB sticks to be negligible. There appears to already be some good discussion in here by people that know more than me in regards to RAM speed.
  19. That's an awesome build, and I'm very jealous. The only thing I would change is the Video card, where I would prefer MSI or an Asus Strix if you're going to be spending that much money anyway. But that's all just personal preference in the end. Have you considered an M.2 drive as your primary OS drive to make the most of that motherboard? http://www.scorptec.com.au/product/Hard_Drives_&_SSDs/SSD_-_mSATA_&_m.2/60972-MZ-V5P256BW
  20. Yeah, bit of a shame really. It seems the developers (Hello Games) don't want to state definitely if it's possible either. http://www.kotaku.com.au/2016/08/two-no-mans-skyplayers-wound-up-on-the-same-planet-but-couldnt-see-each-other/
  21. But apparently you can't see or interact with each other.
  22. Even the beta was better than this. Larger variety of pokemon, and you could actually track them. All they've done is turn stuff off bit by bit to make it run more efficiently, while they continue rolling it out to more countries.
  23. The game runs so much smoother now. But there is currently a known bug with catch/escape rates.
  24. Hi All, I'm looking for a set of coilovers for my R32 GTS-T. Doesn't have to be adjustable, but that is preferred. Located in Brisbane and prefer to pickup, but happy to pay postage for the right item. PM or reply here please. Aaron
  25. For those that haven't found it yet. Https://pokevision.com It's a real-time Pokemon tracker, that shows all in a 5k radius around where you tap.
