so you bought the car with the bonnet on there??? didnt it fit when you bought it?

yeah, there is a 10mm bolt right under the right side of the headlight, which is directly under the front bar

Standard head just getting ported and polished. Waiting for it to arrive back. Thanks dan, will give him a pm now. I tryed searching for anyone else that has done the conversion and nothing came up.

Hi Guys, im asking for a hugeeee favour from any of you guys out there that have completed this project. Here is a run down, I have had a spare RB26 block, with forged internals (jun pistons, rings, conrods, and valve springs etc.), that is sitting in my garage waiting to get convereted into my gt-t. (head is arriving soon) I just need a basic run down of things I need to get or do before I can complete this conversion, as I want to have the car off the road as short as possible, and not want to have to wait for one special part. Such things as wiring loom? Can I modifiy the GTR wiring loom with the factory loom? Can you guys please list as much detail as possible, this would be greatly apprieciated. Also if you could add what I should be paying for extra parts needed so I have a rough idea too. Thanks Mark.

hey mate, yeah i have driven about 400km now. with the new stuff in. When ever I give it hard shifting or boot it, it is a really really strong smell in the cabin 100% its coming from the gearbox and up through to the cabin.

Hey guys, im having a real deliema, i just bought some of this Redline shockproof 80w90 the red stuff. Now i have chucked it in the diff and gearbox. The problem im having is that it still feels like my gearbox is really tight. As in getting the gears in. Sometimes they feel like they are crunching to get in. What do you recommend for gearbox??? or should i stick with this stuff? Also I can really smell this stuff its really strong inside the car. is that normal?? Also its for my 34gtt. and i also have a short shifter. Cheers.

okay just found out. The rears are 19 x 10.5 +13 offset. Fronts are 19 x 9.5 + 13 -

Hi guys i have a quick question. Im just wondering if a set of Volk Racing GT-V wheels will fit on my R34 Gt-t. Im not 100% sure on the widths. But im pretty sure they are 19x10.5rears and 19x 9 fronts. They fit nicely on my mates R33 GTR. http://www.rayswheels.co.nz/wheels/volk_gtv.htm <-- link to what they look like. ah okay then. Yeah picked up the bottom end cheap. And really wanted to use these jun pistons haha. Think i was getting too ahead of myself.

Okay well im not 100% sure what im trying to achieve. For starters i have a spare 26 bottom end. And a brand new set of jun pistons. As I have seen alot of threads about 25/30 bottom ends so was thinking along the lines for a 25/26 bottom end. So would it be in my best idea to scrap this idea??

Hello all, I just have a few questions in relation to my r34. *Im just wondering is it possible to put an rb26dett bottom end on an rb25det neo? *Is it possible to put rb26dett pistons into an rb25det?? if the block is hooned out to accomodate? or are they completly different? Also by me doing this I would be using rb26dett pistons correct? sorry for the noobish questions im only just getting into really modifying it. Thank You Mike.
