Guys FYI. I recently had the Bilstein spring and shock kit fitted to my ARX. The improvement in handling is everything I expected. It still has a 4WD feel, but is crisp and the floating feeling is gone. On the negative side, the car is now too low for my taste, scraping on every speed bump in shopping centres. To put this in perspective, it is worse than my 300ZXTT. Ben from north shore prestige is looking at harder, original height, springs as an alternative to the Bilstein lowered springs. Given the long wheelbase of these cars, I suggest you carefully consider your intended usage before lowering them. I will keep you informed of our progress.

Guys, FYI, I tried to have my ARX tuned last week but ended up with no changes. The car is running quite rich with a 10:1 ratio across the rev range. No wonder she is giving lousy fuel consumption. Attempting to install an Apexi Super AFC Neo failed to improve the performance with the car's computer fighting the Apexi and causing a huge slump in mid range performance. It appears that no one has got the AFC working with the VQ25DET yet. We are now looking for other options. Has anyone sucessfully installed an emanage ultimate on these cars? We also looked at increasing the boost slightly. Interestingly, a standard car with a good air filter, high flow cat and muffler, she is already boosting at 15 PSI from low revs to mid range. I do not feel comfortable increasing beyond this point. Drops back to 10PSI in the mid to upper rev range. I think that this is what is causing the unusual performance feel. Takes of reasonably well, but does not provide the rush as the revs increase. Currently 150 KW at the wheels with a very flat power curve. Any suggestions? My thinking is to fix the fuel ratio and see what happens to the boost.
