thanks for the help, found out that due to using a haltec computer and not having a heater i will have to block off all the holes on the intake side of the block.

ok so do i use knock sensors for a rb30 or rb25?or are they the same?

can some1 please tell me what each hole on the intake side of the rb30 block is for and what i do and dont need? i am not having a heater,aircon. also i have a greddy copy plenum, what are the front 2holes for? also there is about 5holes and the back of the plenum?

i was going to use the same pistons as u, but after speaking with mahle and afew other places was recomended to spend the money and get forged,

i am in need of that plate that goes between the motor and gearbox for an rb. also after a starter motor for rb25 located south brisbane,

I am using JE forged pistons

standard rb20 engine mounts are 45mm and the cortina mounts i have are 35 -38mm(cant remember exactly) they are round with bolt either side.

whats the difference between sr and ca?i have ca brake calipers u can have for $60

im gunna be using ford cortina engine mounts to put my rb30det into a 180sx.motor isnt in yet,so unsure how much lower it will sit using those

i have GATES adjustable cam gears for my 25/30,running bigger cams aswell, have finished the motor yet so not sure on what improvements i will have.

i have a 180sx that im putting a 25/30 into.i will be using rb20 crossmember and brackets, and i am using 38mm ford cortina engine mounts,i dont have the motor in yet, and wont be trying to put it in for afew weeks, so ill let u know how this setup will work 4me
