  9. cool. Would prefer to keep in-tank anyway, less likely to get stickered. As for a motor rebuild, I am aware they blow up, but I am planning on upgrading to a fully built engine in the future. Any other suggestions for reliability/power on the street also?
  10. might I add: To the P plate driver in the silver 31 that tailgated everyone from Gepps Cross to Elizabeth: Tailgate me like that and I will be sure to hit the brakes and let ur unsecured 6x9"s decapitate you. Keep bogans out of skylines. Go buy a commodore you dickhead. /Rant.

  13. I've got a 95 R33 GTR with the following mods already: PowerFC 700cc injectors Nismo fuel pump Greddy Boost Controller Kakimoto full exhaust Twin plate clutch PPG gearbox Big Trust intercooler 18x10's with semi slick Blistein shocks with King Low Springs Slotted Rotors Car is currently tuned at 258rwkw on 15.8psi. I'm about to dive into more power upgrades in the form of: Garrett 2860R-5's new turbo gaskets braided oil and water lines Tomei adjustable cam gears Oil change Tune But my question is, what else should I be looking at for some semi -serious track work? I was thinking: Hi-Octane sump extention with trapdoor and modified pickup, remote oil filter with cooler, temp and pressure gauges Stainless steel braided brake lines Ferrodo 2500 pads My budget is $8k at this stage Does anyone else have any suggestions or reccomendations for some power upgrades and reliability mods? Any ideas appreciated. Cheers, Nigel
  14. spotted "VSP034" blue R34 pulling onto Magill road Trinity Gardens near the maccas this morning around 8:20am.
  15. Just picked up my 33 GTR form the workshop, with a new Exedy Twin plate Carbon clutch, and PPG 1-5th helical gearbox. Drives like a whole new car, and I'd like thank the guys at PPG for great workmanship and prompt service. I have had a Exedy Tinww plate before, and I think its got just the perfect bit without being too harsh. Would highly recommend PPG for all aftermarket gearboxes.
  16. in the 260RS: BAD: Initially hated the stiff suspension - said it was too hard to breathe and hurt her boobs on long trips Then complained why I would wind down the window to hear every hot car that went past. kept asking why I wouldn't turn the A/C on Good: Loved the Pirate door trims Laughed her ass off at the looks I got after destroying V8s. now in the 33 GTR: Bad: Its not a 260RS The money I've spent on it, only after driving it 6 times since owning it. Initially hated the stiff suspension - said it was too hard to breathe and hurt her boobs on long trips Twin plate clutch rattles in the drive-thru, and its embarrassing Its not a 260RS Having sore hands and calf muscles from holding on tight in hill runs Car sickness (see above) Its not a 260RS Good: Loves the acceleration. Loves wide corners... Loves the fact it is purple She doesn't have to explain to all her friends what a Stagea is. She looks out for all other skylines now, and loves them! Has learnt a heap about cars and their workings and asks questions that my car mates cant even answer!
  17. 1 x light grey Stagea Cargo Blind $110 can deliver in metro area. Nigel.

  22. clunk noise was some sort of small tin that I ran over. gearbox was fine when i pulled over...
  23. As some of you may know, my 33 GTR got stolen Friday night, and was recovered with a blown gearbox. More than likely insurance will be taking care of the rebuild, so I'm looking into an aftermarket solution. I've spent the last 2.5 hours reading through all the PPG/PAR/OS/etc gearset threads on this forum, and I'm now totally confused. Thought it might be easier to describe my car, my driving style and let the more experienced GTR owners and guru's throw some suggestions and recommendations my way. S1 33 GTR currently ~290kw, soon to be more ORC twin plate clutch, might upgrade to a Exedy triple plate soon 75% track, 25% street driving it gets nana'd around maybe once a week, and on the weekends it gets hammered pretty damn hard. I have a daily, so street driveability will determine how much i drive it, really doesnt bother me. I love hard launches, fast shifting, plenty of downshift braking, and the occasional clutch kicking. I drive fast cars the way they are meant to be driven. note: Ive broken 3 gearboxes, 2 diffs, 2 driveshafts and 1 tailshaft in my old Subaru Forester Tarmac Rally car... Obviously would prefer not to have the whine of a straight cut, but if thats what suits my driving style, then so be it. Ideas please?
