stag is ready for another run. sunday mornings are out for me - church

previous ride before my stag was this beast: 1998 Subaru Forester non turbo 2L, but worked off its tits making 114kw at all four 1276kg, handled like a go kart Shortened ratio rally gearbox to many handling mods to list lowered 6.75" GC8 WRX front end conversion did all the work myself. I miss this car's handling sooo much! I'll have to spend big $$$ on suspension mods to the stag *cries*

spotted a yellow 34 with hot wheels kit parked on east side of frome road this morning.

Dude. Whoever you are. You just made my day. My chest now hurts form laughing so hard

also just spotted a Qantas A330 dumping fuel while circling the CBD....

just spotted a dark blue 32 4 door 8:45am on North East Road near TTP. slammed, fmic, work mesh wheels, dori pipes and a heavy clutch. Guy driving it had a yello repco jersey on.

just spotted a silver R33 GTR on grand junction road northfield heading west 2:45pm. tinted tailights and black rims with red lips. Looked clean.

spotted "68IOU1" candy blue R34 GTT (with a GTR badge wtf) booting it up McIntyre road this morning around 10:15am. Poor shifts, but sounded alright

around 12 at the start, and about 7 at the end? weather wasn't too fantastic, made things a bit slippery in the hills, but still a great day kudos to adam also!

well the car has been off the road for over 4 months now, so ive been busy tinkering away and collecting parts: Exedy Twin Plate Racing clutch Redline gearbox oil Redline diff oils Castrol transfer case oil Power steering oil Hicas oil ATTESA oil Fuel filter labour to fit the above. 2 second hand tyres new rear brake pads oil change towing fee carton of beer. few other little tricky "thingamabobs" etc etc etc... got a heat shield to fit up and put my front driveshaft in on saturday arvo too

Awesome! I get my car back tomorrow night....$3k later.. I've got a few things to bolt up Saturday afternoon, but I should be on target for Sunday's cruise! I'll be the one in the dirty black 260RS turning up late Nigel.

cos it doesnt have an accessable front tow hook, and its got no rego! $55 for a towtruck, and they are around the corner.

So has anyone come to a solid conclusion re: S1 RS260 struts? from what i can gather: R33 GTR front R33 GTST rears + stiffer springs? and rear strut brace is a Stagea specific item with GTST strut tops pattern? I personally know the owner of Racing Logic. If i were to ask him for a set of coilovers, he can supply whatever spring rates i want, and possibly even change the strut tops to suit... Im still confused what models i should be asking for!

All suburbs towing is located like 3 minutes from here, and ironically on the way to where the car has to go. they said $55 so i reckon thats alright

yay my car gets a new Exedy twin plate and $400 worth of Redline oils in a fortnight from today! Will someone please forward the SMS to me asap! Alternatively PM me the details?? I need to plan that weekend, and need to know times/places etc. cheers! Nigel

it does have a towhook, but its well up under the front bumper and i dont feel like removing a bumper just to tow it. I just organised a tip tow for $50, but thanks guys!

where are the BOVs located on an RS260 (R33 GTR)? and are there any bolt on upgrades for these? cheers

my stag goes in for some work on the 12th, so im hoping it will be done in time for this cruise? first time i get to drive it in 4 months!! awaiting SMS...
