i limped my RS260 down to Newton shopping Centre carpark, cos i figured thats where the meet point was, considering i hadnt received a PM from anyone. i didnt have anyone's mobile numbers, so i couldnt call!!!!!!!! was dissapointing because i was hoping to make this one!

would have been nice if sum1 PM'd me the meet point, cos i turned up to where i thought it was, and it was empty...

hi guys! I got a S1 RS260, with the Nismo Struts standard.. I have the little black knobs on the top of the strut, with numbers 1-4. What do the numbers correspond to, and what are the settings? which is harder/softer etc? any help appreciated. ta.

i have mechanics and team managers to do that for me nah just kidding. blew the clutch tonight so looks like i'll just be doing the oil, filter, fuel filter and maybe the coolant. hopefully score myself a decent clutch at a good price from my good mates....

well i'm not doing it, the mechanic is, but i'm supplying all the parts and he is doing the hard labour. its technically a 5,000kms service, but considering its taken me so long, might as well do the fuel filter and other things as well.

hey guys (and gals) ive got a stagea with Full R33GTR drivetrain with 73,xxx kms I need to service the beast for the first time before i head away on a long trip soon. just need to confirm a few things: RB26DETT: How many litres exactly of Mobil 1 will i need? I've been told 4.5L + filter, is this correct? Whats the best oil to use for the diffs? ---- how many litres exacly will i need for each diff/transfer case whatever? Im choosing to put some redline shockproof oil in the gearbox, again, exactly how many litres will i need and which weight is the best? Is there anything else i should be changing? I have oil and fuel filters already oh, and how do nismo strut tops work? they have a little black knob with number 1-4 on them, which is the hardest setting? cheers guys, any help appreciated.

So in summary, it is definatelly a R33 GTR gearbox. I'll let my mechanic know so he can price up some parts for me. Thanks for your help guys, much appreciated! Nigel.

I was told that the motor in a Series One RS260 is from a R32GTR and the motor in a Series Two was from a R33GTR. so technically (please someone correct me if I'm wrong), the part numbers for a R32GTR gearbox should be identical to those of a Series ONE Autech Stagea? I'm trying to chase up synchros and selector forks.

I was under the impression it was a R32GTR gearbox, as the motor is also from R32/33GTR. Yet I have been told its a "Stagea 5 speed gearbox" Which is it?!?!?! Can someone please clear it up for me, as I am about to start looking around for a new clutch and gearbox parts. Any help muchly appreciated.

hey mate, got any pics of it? which model is it exactly?

I just checked out the computer, its stock, not a power FC or anything, so i assume its had some tuning. Someone said that the stock wastegates only hold 14psi, unless fitted with a stiffer wastegate spring?
