hmms. i can hear my motors spinning away. Found last night that previous owner have sikaflexed the left mirror rigid . right mirror starts folding, then gets stuck, but a gentle bump with the hand, and it fold the rest of the way in. how much are replacement mirrors? i assume alot?

the electric folding function on my mirrors doesnt work very well, i have to "help" the mirrors fold in. i think the motoros need a clean out, or something has seized a little. anyone know how to get them apart to clean the motors? ive had the mirror off, and the mirror off the pivot plate, but i cant get the motor out of the mirror itself. ideas people? thanks. has anyone spotted my black RS260 yet? "BIT SUS" plates are now on

I have a problem changing into 4th, it seems to have trouble meshing, so after my experiences with subaru gearboxes, i'm assuming its a synchro. Does anyone have any info on the type of syncro in the gearbox in my S1 97 RS260? what box is this? R33GTR...V spec? how many synchros per gear? single synchro? double syncro? Has anyone changed syncros in a GTR box before? How much did it cost you? Any help greatly appreciated before i rip the box out for a rebuild. Nigel.

Im about to fit the same controller to my Autech Stagea. Pics would be a great help. so far ive spent nearly 4 hours searching the net for info on how to fit one of these to a GTR.....lol will have 2nd attempt tomorrow at fitting it!

I'm not sure if i can make it to kart mania this friday night, but see what i can do. im totally new to the forum, but you all sound frendly haha oh, and theres another black RS260 a few suburbs away from me. its the one i was SUPPOSED to be buying from sinergy, but it got sold 2 days before i walked in there with a deposit. as for the hay plains... purposely crossed it about 8am, missing dawn, and all the roos. However did encounter 500 odd cows in the middle of the road drinking all the puddles, as there are no fences in the hay plains.... reasonalbly trouble free trip home, tho i hit a pile of dolomite on a rough section of road on the way home, bumping an intercooler hose, and causeing a boost leak all the way home. Fixed that all up and she is running really sweet! hopefully see you all soon!

Picked up my stagea from brisbane on monday, and drove it back to adelaide. 4 states, no plates, and on permit the whole way home, didnt get pulled up once lol. stock S1 RS260 midnight black colour HKS piping. Stainless uppipe K&N filter Nismo clear indicators Cusco Master cylinder brace. otherwise stock registered today, first rego in australia very proud. someone let me know about the next cruise but more importantly dyno day!

"track spec" = 110KW NA 1290kg racing logic coilovers. full whiteline range 18x8's 5 degrees castor -2.5 camber handled like a go kart. really miss it was perfect for hills runs would outrun bikes

Surely there is someone on here who works casual work or something? We don't have any luggage by the way, nor do we smell.... (contrary to rumours) Easy way to make $50 for 45 minutes of someones time? We need to hit the road to home by about 11am, so thats why i'd prefer no taxi queues or trains. Cheers guys

i figured most people would be working. Time is an issue, hence i dont wanna wait for the train. Already checked the time tables, and i'd be losing over an hour of precious travel time. Car is unregoed, so cant drive it till i get permits from qld transport, hence all the taxi's.

Hey guys, I'm Nigel, a member from Adelaide. I'm asking for a large favour for monday (04/08/08) Myself and a mate land at Brissy airport at 9am, and need to get to Morayfield to pick up my new beast from another member, ready to drive home to Adelaide. I would greatly appreciate a lift from a generous member if it was in any way possible. The trip will of course be rewarded with petrol money. The trip is 45kms approx, and would prefer a faster and more economical alternative to a $100 taxi for a <45 minute trip. I also need to make my way to Queensland transport on piper street at Morayfield also, but thats only a $15 taxi from the car's location, so i have that covered. Hoping that a member finds it in thier heart to give 2 guys a lift on thier way to work or whatever. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Nigel.
