I haven't read it in this topic, but if I was to build a 30/26 for rwd use, what sump arrangement would be best? Would this eliminate the need for an adapter plate? And solve many bonnet clearance issues?

use a RB20 loom, extend the injector loom, change the AFM and throttle position sensor, and you are done. (AFAIK)
