  1. Yeah in other words, if you're trying to impress randoms when your rock up Maccas, go for it. But on the downside you'll have to learn to live with a car that handles like shit, destroys tyres and is a cop magnet. Edit: This will tell you how much the wheels will stick out ie. how much more/less outer and inner clearance you will have http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp ...it won't tell you however the effects on your suspension geometry/handling etc
  2. 18x8.5 +35F and 18x9.5+35R sits just about flush with rears sticking out the tiniest little bit .. just to give you an idea. Unless you're prepared to extensively modify your guards incl. repaint them (as the paint WILL crack with the amount of flaring required) don't bother. Those are not GTT offsets.
  3. the 33 veilside looks like the car went through some type of time warp/black hole/secret lab experiment and didn't rematerialize properly on exit... imho.
  4. why not just ask how much it's worth what's all this BS about wanting to buy one yourself when you're selling one in the FS section ? I'd give you $200, maybe more if it wasn't for all this sneaky bs.
  5. call me paranoid but should new members with no posts be allowed to sell a stripped car? how do we know it's not some poor bastard's stolen/stripped car and he's looking for it in another thread??
  6. I think he's referring to the ones that comes standard on R34 GTT's .. the R34 GTR has a MFD not gauge cluster. Afaik you can't fit the R34 triple guage cluster to an R33 ..you need use aftermarket ones or just use the justjap ones they come with nice little holders as seen here
  7. I installed those 6000k's that Dan was selling and they look superb. They don't look blue at all and haven't attracted any unwanted attention at all. I do find however that I had to lower the level of the headlights to the lowest settings (my 34 has that level adjuster knob under the steering wheel) On middle setting I was getting flashed by oncoming traffic so hmm .. but that was same day as I cleaned my headlights so might have had something to do with that and not the new globes. Either way even on lowest level setting they look great and put out good light.
  8. can you change mine again please, due to database crash today it reverted back to my old name .. change to Wacky Dee thanks
  9. call nisswreck I think they have a GTT in stock so they might be able to sell it to ya if they still have it. Mine doesn't do jack shit ..unscrewed all the way and the car idles the same ... first thought was a vaccum leak somewhere after the butterfly* but pressurizing the whole engine with a smoke machine revealed no leaks. (* what my mechanic said)
  10. I'll take a stab in the dark and say overfuelling/running rich if you don't have any ecu management/remap or a fuel pump on its way out? The GTT is in limp mode until it warms up after first starting it up in the morning. Check your air filter at all ? It could also just be the weather ..colder air will give you more boost. Or does it just cut out at .5 bar? Hm not very helpful I know .. hang on, someone will be with you soon with more usefu/accuratel tips.
  11. post a photo of what it looks like in a month or 2 and I'll judge if it's worth the effort Looks nice ..but 2 days? How many cartons during that time?
  12. which ..awd or any skyline ? what's that photo supposed to show ? Sometimes I feel blind n stupid..
  13. someone help me decipher what's being said here ... staggered setups (ie. wider wheels at the back) are BAD for AWDs (GTR) or for any Skyline? Or did I miss the point entirely ?
  14. if possible please change mine to Wacky Dee Ta
  15. in the 34 there're fuses near the gas pedal and also under the bonnet...whenever I blew a fuse (which was a few times just recently) it was always the ones under the bonnet
  16. get a remap or a Nistune chip.. full blown ecu that costs $2k without major engine upgrades is a total waste. Nistune can handle timing/afrs, bigger injectors etc
  17. reading another topic recently made me think about this as I'd never considered it before .. most tuners seem to stick a wideband sensor into the tail pipe when tuning the AFRs. How accurate is this method compared to having a wideband stuck inside the dump pipe directly eg. throguh the o2 sensor hole. Does the cat affect AFRs readings or would you get the same readings from tail pipe as you would from the dump pipe ? Cheers
  18. I wouldn't be taking any chances if I were you. My brother hit a small wallaby in his mazda .. the broken grill plastic punctured the radiator so it started leaking coolant. Car overheated once or twice but was promptly stopped and let cool down / water refilled. Anyway, 1 day of that and the engine blew up .. $10k in damage. If I were you I'd replace the thermostat as it's cheap and get the radiator flushed and flow tested at the very least ..then take it for another sping up the same road. Engine overheating is NOT normal and not a freak 'one off'. Also, I'd recommend installing a couple of decent gauges .. the autogauge water termp gauge is about $80 and easy to install.
  19. dude dont give away original plastic bars ...that's insane. You can get $300-500 for those on ebay
  20. last chance guys, I need everyone who wants one to confirm by posting here before 6 pm
  21. you all should just get a segway or something
  22. I'm pretty sure it is. Does your bootlid brake light look like the one above ? If so, then yes.
