I'm pretty sure all 34 boot lids are the same (and that all came with a wing from factory) incl. GTR ..someone correct me if I'm wrong. If person above doesn't get it, let me know I'm still interested.

interested in boot lid.. any dents or rust near the brake light on the bootlid ? How were the spoiler holes patched, welded properly or just cemented and resprayed?

Where are you getting that info? The document you yourself linked to clearly states 35% for windows. As for the golf comment, chill it was a joke

why not stick the wideband inside the exhaust tip ? I'm pretty sure that's what most tuners do when tuning ..well from what I've seen anyway. But on 2nd thoughts, that does bring an interesting question to mind .. just how accurate are the readings from the tailpipe vs dump pipe. After all the gases coming out of tail pipe have already been filtered by the catalytic converter. HMM!

lol he's already been told to check the rules for his state, I only shared some information based on personal experience. EDIT: oh and it looks like Vic rules are the SAME ie. 35% so NYER. On a side note, you drive a friggin Golf you shouldn't be advising anyone on anything vehicle related

in NSW your front windows can't be less than 35%. my R34 came with factory privacy glass (rear windshield and quarters) which looks VERY dark with the dark stock interior, probably 20-25% but I believe it's legal as its a factory option and the tint is built into the glass. I just had my front windows tinted to 20% and I thought it wouldn't be dark enough ...looks illegal ie. VERY dark but I haven't had any issues with the law YET... Visibility at night in dark streets is pretty crap and I often wind my window down. But it LOOKS great .. Another thing, I do have creme colour interior now and from the outside you can barely see anything inside. So 20% with the stock dark interior covers would look pitch black. If you're worried, stick to 35%. It's only $100 to redo the front windows if I ever get busted so it's not that big a deal to me.

if it's faulty, just junk it and put the triple guage pod in there ..you can get those from wreckers and sometimes ebay.

i have led tail lights (not nismo tho) so need to bling up the bootlid one to make em match

hm looking on ebay and there are tons of brake leds in all sorts of shapes and sizes .. pretty cheap too. Might get one of them and just cannibalize it ..take out the board with the leds and stick under my lens Now just to find the right length one with 2 rows of leds..

Theres a guy selling these on Yahoo japan for only 3000 Yen which is about $40 but shipped with all importmonster fees etc it comes to about $140 Has anyone seen these in australia anywhere? Or if anyone's contemplating ordering from importmonster soon, wouldn't mind paying $20 towards your shipping fees if you could include it in your package

those tail lights look like conversions ..theres a couple of dudes in japan that take stockies and put LEDs in them. Reason I think they're not the real Nismo item is because you can see the leds with the tail lights off .. and on the Nismo ones I couldn't see the leds at all unless they were switched on/hit the brakes. But I could be wrong. Either way I am guessing these look super awesome and the price is right have you got any more photos of the rear wing? interested in a trade (stock wing + cash your way)? Only problem mine's black ..

kudos motorsports I think has them .. also most tuners/mechanics do too. In regards to the smaller gap with higher boost .. I think the higher boost can 'blow out' the spark if its high enough, but I don't believe 1.2bar/18psi would do that, I could be wrong. I'm running 12psi on factory coilpacks and 1mm gap with no missfire.

did you try going back up to standard gap (1.1mm) after getting a new ignitor? From my understanding, lower gap is a cheap hack only needed with old/factory coilpacks.. If I were to get new splitfires/ignitor first thing I'd try would be standard gap.

This last one is probably closest to the true color of the red lenses .. in the first 2, the light was reflecting from inside thanks to the bling, making them look orangish. Overall I'm happy with it but I would prefer them a shade darker overall to reduce the bling .. I might take em out some day and take them to a panelbeater and get them to put a coat or 2 of clear with some black thrown in the mix, over both entire lenses.

yeah I know I've spoken to the guy that makes them ... but I'm not sure I quite like them that much as the leds seem white and sit too close to the lense so you can all the leds during the day even when they're not lit. His url is http://www.qestjapan.com/ I've taken a couple of pics today .., very hard to capture the true color of the lenses. The lenses are much darker than in the photos, probably same as stock ones - except they have the chrome interior which makes them look very blingy compared to stockies. Either way, I reckon with the blinkers painted it looks way better than with clear ones, atleast on a black R34..photos coming shortly.

just get the NGK coppers .. heat range 7 if up to 270rwkw or heatrange 8 if higher, I think. BCPR7ES or BCPR7ES-11 (I think) I'd get the latter which is pregapped to 1.1mm and get mechanic to reduce gap if you get a misfire at that gap size, but you should be fine with 1.1mm gap if you're changing coilpacks (plus more power/better fuel economy over lower gapped plugs) Everyone will tell a different story/experience on the gap sizes and most ppl will recommend .8mm (ie. "BCPR7ES") plugs with more boost ... but some people run plenty of boost with even a 1.1mm gap and no misfire at all. Bigger gaps gives you a better spark, more power etc

got these today ..painted the clear indicators with clear orange (tamiya paint) and they look pretty nice .. much better than with the clear blinkers. Still i'd prefer the red lenses a bit darker but this will do for now. Will post a couple of pics if anyone's interested.

def looks like GTR ..that section under the bonnet would never fit a stock GTT.

dont think anything applied with a brush would look that good. I was thinking of using that tamiya paint and then clear coat it to protect it. Either way I dont have the lights yet ..asked the seller if its coming from Melbourne or overseas and he said melb... but don't think melb->syd takes more than 3 days. Grrr.

wishful thinking ... I'm pretty sure they meant any car not at stock height after 1st August ... not any car that has the mods DONE after 1st Aug.. How on earth would anyone know the date of when you lowered your car ?? They wouldn't, so your interpretation can't be right.

could you do me a favour and measure height of the bar from just under the parker light downwards to the end of the lip ? When I asked the seller he said it's only 23mm lower than the stock bar which doesn't sound too low at all (unless your front suspension is lowered a lot) edit: also from bonnet down to the end of the bottom lip too please if you can

Thanks mate sounds like it's probably of decent quality then. How do you find it for daily duties? Too impractical for everyday driving or ok ?
