the optional factory Xanavi pop-up satnav LCD unit + headunit (cd player/TV etc) + casette player and dash lid/flap.The unit recently came up with the usual chip error but from what I've been told it can be repaired easily and the whole unit can be modified to work with gps etc. Price $200 mud flaps/pods that sit on the guards at the rear of each wheel. Factory option (plastic) GV1 black. $80 standard GTT rear bar (black), plastic obviously .. car was rear ended recently, very minor damage to it that can be easily repaired, very little paint damage $250 items are pickup only in Sydney or you must organize courier if elsewhere .. due to weight/size. I'll post photos if there's any real interest.

were your roof/door rubber seals damaged or was the car 'good to go' once you took of the shields and the adhesive? I'm just worried about having no rubber seals if i remove the weathershields

well I'm looking to get a r34 pfc soonishly and so it is in my interest that people don't artificially inflate prices and sell for far less privately.. All that does is give other potential sellers ideas that they too should try to rip people off. Get it? The item is NOT worth $2000 and you know it, regardless of the fact that they've stopped making them. You paid $1400 for it brand new tops, don't be a prick and inflate the price for other buyers when you know chances of you getting that much are bugger all. pfc is not a cure for cancer it's a friggin ECU. If the price gets too inflated (it was too exxy at $1400 to begin with) people will just buy piggybacks (more and more people do) and you'll be stuck with something you don't need and probably end up selling it privately for $1000 when you realize you're not getting anywhere near $2k So for f**ks sake, just save everyone some time incl. yourself AND DONT BE GREEDY.

the dash is dark as is the centre console and arm rest .. I say keep it dark (matt black) regardless of seat colours unless ur redoing your entire cabin

I wasnt running the aircon and I seriously thought I blew the engine or something thats has bad it ran during the day ... but drove it later in the evening when it cooled down a bit and it seemed fine ?!? Does fitting an FMIC usually require a tune ? ie. I had my stock ecu remapped (ignition, AFRs etc) - would a fmic change all that ?

my first summer with the skyline ..today was a very hot day and the car felt extremely lethargic .. felt like I was running on 3 or 4 cylinders only. I don't have a FMIC just the standard SMIC ... could the hot weather be the reason ?

ok I took a closer look and it seems apart from clips theres a shitload of glue holding them in there .. but I can't work out if the rubber seals around the door frame are completely in tact or not. Does anyone know if the rubber seals on the roof get taken out when you put in the shields ?

actually come to think of it a few months ago someone on SAU was selling what he claimed was a genuine full impul kit and IIRC according to him it also was made from fibreglass (presumbably thicker and more accurate then the copies floating around) Can anyone confirm ?

were they genuine items or fibreglass? does anyone know how much the genuine plastic IMPUL side skirts for an R34 GTT cost ? I have the carmate ones installed and while the fit is good they've managed to crack them in 2 corners while fitting, leave a couple of gaps etc .. and I'm fretting everytime passengers get in/out of the car just waiting for someone to snag on the passenger sideskirts and crack it good

my GTT came with the dark redish slimline ones on both sides. IMO they look crap and are next to useless as when it rains, water comes in anyway... but I've no idea how to take them off as they're clipped hard in and I think there would be rubber insulation missing where they're now and I don't know if anyone can actually fix that or how much it'd cost.

why not just post a realistic price up instead of trying to jack it up ? If I were to sell my r34 I wouldn't post "$100k or best offer" .. wtf is the point other than contribute to the growing trend of pfc price jackings ? Most performance shops doing tunes can still get the new items for $1500-1600 and cheaper 2nd hand. When other people with their pfc decide to sell their pfc here they'll see stupid prices like this and try the same bs wasting genuine buyers' time. But whatever, you're free to ask whatever you want for it .. I'm just saying and I wouldn't have made a peep about it if it hadn't sold by the way so as not to influence anyone's decision on whether to buy it from you or not.

its still a work in progress as I've been changing my centre console around ... and I still need to replace my AC fascia next week which is when it should all be done. I'll take a couple of piccies though this arvo .. the triple guages are done as is the stereo fascia, my vents, gear surround and AC still need to be redone though (gear surround and vents are with clear and look too shiny)

yeah the factory sticky paint is pretty shit .. trust me it's an easy job if you just do it properly. Removing the console is piss easy as is removing that sticky paint as it comes off like nothing when you dump the parts in metho and scrub... I just cleaned off the sticky paint off the door handles as well using metho instead of painting them as it's a pain in the ass to remove those bits from the door trim and they look 10x better. If you keep it simple, you can do the whole lot in a couple of hours and have a perfect result. Just buy a big can of powerplus (plastic) paint in matt black and a bottle of methylated spirit, pair of rubber gloves and some green scrubbing pads/wire - comes to less than $40 all up. But do learn from other peoples mistakes ie. DONT just paint over that old sticky paint, use metho to remove it - it's easy. DONT use primer, it's pointless. DON'T use clear coat unless you like shiny surfaces that reflect light and look cheap.

which guages are those (the smaller set of 3) ? will they fit in the standard triple guage pod on an r34??

yeah thats what I used .. matt black powerplus paint from supercheap auto. Looks nice after you remove old paint (literally soak it in metho and use green scrubbing wire thingy as Dan said) and do 3 coats and NO FRIGGIN CLEAR!!

it needs to be sprayed .. trust me it's easy. What's more, don't use any primer OR clear coat ..waste of time and both just screwed it all up for me twice. Primer was coming thru paint for some reason even after several coats and the clear coat makes everything too damn shiny and reflective ..looking cheap.
