Selling a power steering pump, with resevoir, hoses etc to suit rb25, not sure about other rbs i bought it from z imports thinking mine was stuffed, as it used to make noises when i tuned the wheel, turns out, they work much better when they have fluid in them!!! so now i dont need the new one, paid $120 sell $60. pm me

  5. no i didnt contact foursnmore, they didnt answer there phone after 3 attempts of calling! as this is my first import (used to own holden 8s) , im just trying to find the best work shop that is most convienient, to be honest, pricing doesnt really bother me to much, as long as the job gets done as best it can, i hope it feels quicker, it felt quick for the first week, but now im used to it, so out comes the wallet thanks again for you help people, will let you know how i go, and how she goes when i pick her up.
  6. sure, its getting done at morpowa tomorrow. its costing $350 including the time spent on the dyno putting the settings in. cant wait to get it back and run some decent, controlled, hi boost! by hi boost, i mean a measly 13-14 psi

  11. i recently (last week) went out and bought myself an electronic boost controller, GReddy Profec Bspec II, while not exactly top of the range, its good for what i need it for, now all i need, is a workshop to install it, and put the settings in. can any one recommend a shop? and rough price? thanks in advance
  12. ha ha, bit far to drive mate, im measuring the boost on the guage in the stock cluster, and the autometer boost guage i had installed, both read the same, and trust me, it feels no where near as quick as it used to..
  13. then what the fark is wrong with it if it cant be tuned? it spools up hard like normal, but only pushes a whole three-5 pound boost! its slowly getting lower and lower! i got told to get an ebc and take it to be tuned. is this the prob? or do i have a bigger prob on my hands? like a dying turbo?

  19. ok, i spent some time under the bonnet yesterday, changed spark plugs (ngk laser platinum) cleaned afm thoroughly and checked/cleaned igniter packs, also wrapped them in electrical tape just in case, all seems good, no more surging or choking, but this typical r33 flat spot you all spaeak of is now obviuose, doesnt do it all the time, but every now and then when i boost it hard. for now, it doesnt really bother me, it still eats most ls1's so thats all im worried about at the moment ; ) i also took out the bleeder valve beacause it wasnt always hitting the 11-12 pound it usually does, instead it was only reaching 5-7 pound. it didnt seem to make much difference without the bleeder valve, but does it matter if i leave it out?

  22. yeah im going to clean the afm tommoro when i change the plugs, will prob be dirty cos the old pod was very oily! ill give it a shot, also, would a dirty afm or dirty plugs cause the turbo not to hit its normal boost level? usually runs 12.5, but since this prob started, it barely hits 7 pound
  23. does RB20 AFM Fit RB25? my mate has one we can try to see if its my AFM that is playing up.
  24. ok, i took the coil pack cover off, gave it a thrash to make the engine hot, it didnt do it, except for when i first started driving (when it was cold) i got home , turned the lights off to check for a sparks fromk coils, and there was nothing. i bought some new ngk laser platinum spark plugs that will be going in tomorrow. could this problem possibly be my AFM?
