have you checked the cooler for leaks? also your waste gate actuator could be faulty -
300 rwkw will be achiveable if you want more power and response cams would help alot the rb 20 or 25 afms will do the job the gtr ones will be too small.I have a friend who had an rb 26 built by hks and that only made 330-350 rwkw and it was 2 wheel drive btw also using 2510's the car was tuned in japan so if hks cant get 370 rwkw I doubt you will. great responsive package though meggala

Yeah its a great package mine makes around 220 rwkw and I wouldn't want much more the response is stupid full boost by 3200 rpm and positive boost by 2500 rpm cheers -

looking good are you going to be running a stock t25 g turbo or are you going for an upgrade. you will be very happy with it. I got 550 klm from 50 liters from my thing the other day. they are great on fuel as well meggala -
there is another brand that is 530 cc's cant remember which company though. other wise you might need to muck are with gtr injectors. meggala

Dr_Drift on these forums in melbourne can retune rb20 ecu's for bigger injectors afm etc all done on a dyno send him a pm as he doent read these forums much. he has done my sr 20 and my old r32 cheers meggala

its a tough game the 15 year rule cars I have bought quite a few over the last couple of years a driftt says its about knowing your buyer and them knowing you. Having worked in the car trade on and off of a number of years my experience enables me to judge cars fairly accuratly and fairly quickly. any 15 year old car is generally sold just b4 shaken so it is likely to cost money in repairs or else the seller would have kept the car. you would be silly not to budget at least 1k on repairs and some times more. hence the reasonable prices you pay for the cars. I have kept away from buying 89 gtrs as a rule because unless you really know what you want and are prepared to pay for it there can be alot of heartache. In my opinion a gtr is a car you need to have good cash resources to own because if anything goes wrong its big dollars to fix. its just a pity there is no one doing raws complance for r32 gtrs I can and do get full mechanical reports on cars at auction and also on cars bought from other sources [/size] as for the rule changes well they change and the market adapts simple as that. the size of various lobby groups is a big influence on govt and the local car industry is to important for the economy for them to ignore . I hope they do keep the rules so that I can continue to get some interesting cars out of japan. but who knows I got my first laurel today so I'm happy meggala

well I',m wiht jsut cars and renewal came up peeps who know me know how cheap insurance is afor me well under 1k over 40 rating one 5 year + accident free any way. I thought I would call shannons and the guy was embarassed they couldnt even come close on the price just cars quoted me. cheers

Rb 20 X 2 2 differnt cars car one r32 stock rb 20 vg 30 turbo broken ring land didnt check which one boost too high on vg 30 turbo was running 18-20 psi ( gauge reading wrong) and had stock fuel pump fitted so leaned out. oil cant remember but think castrol number 2 cefiro RB20 oil not sure jms drift comp started hearing cluck cluck near the end of the day etc car fitted with vg30 turbo .9 bar boost . stopped competing tried to limp, on feeway home bang catastrophic failure conrod through side of block hence why I changed to sr 20's meggala leaning out and bad tuning seems to be the main casues for gtst failure

hi roy the rb20 de had a conpression of 10.5 to 1 not sure on the actuall design of them but I seem to remeber some one saying the heads were a bit differnet. but then again I have heard of several rb20 de's being turbo charged with out too many issues sux about your head I would be looking into it. I still have my old head sitting in the garage even if you jsut wantto take measure ments cheers
