  1. head work and cams change the whole dynamics of a motor. great result from some one who said cams went much of an up grade
  2. go for a new turbo and the pon cams your car justifies a new turbo cause its fairly new s/hand turbo's are ok fo rolder cars ie r32's etc cheers

  6. the major issue with autronic is that is only has 4 ignition point and uses wasted spark to fire the coils. power fc as sydney kifd said is the main option with a few of the other gettign a looking micro tech does get very bad fuel consuption. meggala

  8. btw roy they do do 2.2 sr's you have to go for a ride in mine to see the difference I ahve no dispute between rb 25/ 26 I thnkthey are great motors but as for 2.0 liter mark the sr eats and rb 20 every day meggala
  9. hey boof show me an rb20 making 650 hp!!!!! closest I have seen is 550hp from a jap car. I dont think they all break I know plenty of people making 240-250 rwk on stock bottom ended sr's and have been for 12-18 months I know of 5 in melbourne alone . rockers only break when you over rev them. hence my 7200 rev limit

  11. thats similar to the gt austo sound s15 they ran 9.3 seconds or something. yep the sr20 is tougher than an rb 20 guell why I ditched my rb 20 meggala

  13. well I have heard of hiflowed injectors being checked and they had a huge difference in flow for each injectors if you can't afford the proper injectors you can't afford the up grade. raising the rail pressure will get you a higher tolerance of power I would do that b4 hi flowiing injectors or even use r x7 injectors as tony said. there is no cheap way to get performance btw note you said the approx flow rate is 590 cc you buy a nissan sard apexi or denso injecotr and they tell you exactly what they flow not approximates. how big is your turbo stock injecotrs can support p 400 hp @ the fly wheel when the pressure is raised meggala
  14. after hearing others experiances I could not recommend high flowing injectors. yu best to just bit the bullet and buy the proper ones.
  15. yep you should be able to just dont wind the boost up till you have it tuned on a dyno bigger injectors are a must if you want to run 1.5 bar or similar. they are a great rubo you will enjoy them meggala
  16. mat lowth ran a td 07 on his rb25/30 it went pretty good. trust turbo's are very good I hear very few people complain about them. meggala
  17. a cold night great crowd not many runs jpc ran an 8.61 that monaro was awsome yellow deep into the 10's loved the fact it was manual as well.
  18. ok peeps these are just sitting in my garage. the block is bare but has sump head is bare does have some lifter and valve's sell it as bare. no cams or any thing else $100 head and block pick up only. pistons and rod I think there are 6 $120 suit cheapie rebuild. . will supply pics meggala [email protected] would be a good start for a 2.3 or 2.4 project all items are in melbourne

  24. nah cereal your car just has that crazy note from the exhaust. its probably not that bad but you are soft get an exhaust shop to fit a resonator should quiten it down a bit. but you will loose power. so dont come back grumbling I want more power any way have a listen to my car that has a similar exhaust but on an sr I have no hassels with it but I dont fang it through shopping centers etc. teh efficence of turbo all come back to how quickly you can get the exhaust out with out restriction. vid is here http://www.meggala.com/ceffyshort.MPG cheers meggala
  25. when you drive a turbo car hard under boost it gets extremly hot ie the whole rear part of the turbo glows red so you should let i cool down when you have thrashed it also driving it quitely for 2 mins before turning it off will suffice. meggala this is an idea of how hot they get disreguard the writing. s
