  2. full boost buy are ourn 5-5500 on the car I went in ages ago it came on boost savagly in that car different cars with a different tune will have different characteristics. as a general rule it should be very good though. meggala

  8. yeah the idle might be a bit lumpy and there might be a bit of lag associated but the amount of power you generate when on full boost will be higher. there are pro's and cons to doing cams.mostfactory cams are a compromise due to the need to meet emissions standards. meggala

    onthe other side of town you could try complete auto and dyno they have a 4 wd dyno and do lots of good work complete auto in 146 gaffeny street coburg 0393541198 meggala
  10. tested out the ceffy at the drift practice was pretty good no pics of my car in action:( so if any one got some coudl they pass them on. good night it didnt rain at all while there loots of close calls and ood spectating to be had also plenty of runs for people meggala .

  13. why not jsut buy a rb 25 de and bolt your turbo stuff on it and back the timing off a little now that woudl be cheap or worse cars put a 2mm head gasket if cost is an issue. no matter how cheap you get the rb 30 it will still be dearer than an rb25 meggala

  16. mercs arent as sporty granted but I prefer their build quality to bmw's repairs on bmw's are expensive even services once the milage gets high with merc high milage is less of an issue un less its over 280 000 klms then your asking for trouble. dotn expect a bmw to be as reliable as your stock skyline or as fuel efficent meggala
  17. generally its the bearing but they go for ages even when they are noisy. re the price pull a gear box apart and try and put it back together you will see why it costs alot meggala
  18. I would make sure it fits b4 building the rb 25/30 I have heard of a few people attempting this conversion who had troubles. meggala

  20. get a car with aroudn 100 000 klms to be safe pay the extra for them its worth it then you knwo you 3-5 years trouble free yes m3's are nice you will loose twice the money if you get an m3 or yoru boss will always want to drive it cheers

  25. brand new c180 compressor aroudn 56000 from the dealer in brighton he has it on the front of his shop so allow 60 but still its a brand new merc. I found a 96/97 c200 for 20ish not long ago Seriously once you have owned a merc you wont even look at bmws. teh build quality is heaps better and the reliability is great
