one of my favorite cars. found this for sale on yahoo a few years ago. rb26/30 n/a they quote 330ps for it and the car weighted 1100 kgs. looks the goods. meggala

yeah stock engine is great for drifting in a cef. suspension is the key. my rb25de drifts nicley with 105rwkw. I find running 7"/8" 15" wheels also makes it nicer to drift
-
get the stagea motor drops in supposedly. a much better swap that the normal rb25det personally I would turbo you current motor
-
4 square down ball aqgainst the wall. my favorite game was "british bull dog" similar to this version. it was played on the oval lost of ripped clothes etc. but the soft co6ks banned it cause it was too dangerous. great game meggala

hey b-man long time no hear . yeah been busy with other stuff work wise etc. which state are you in Lo r33. the rb25de has smaller injectors than the rb25det. the e-mange is ok. re remapping the rb25not atm but dr-drift in melbourne is looking into it he can actually get an r33 to run ith a stock rb20 ecu for more info http;//www.dr-drift.com jsut dont forget when you do the turbo conversion to retart the timing quite a bit initally. cheers

it has been done plenty of times its a straight forward conversion. if you use the rb25de gear box its a bolt in situation wiring being the only hassle pay some one some cash and its sorted quick. if you use the rb 25 det gearbox you need to get the tail shaft with the box. is better to upgrade brakes and also swap the rear end for the r33 gtst you get lsd brakes etc much easier and quicker. it might not be worth doing worth doing if you are converting from auto to manual add quite a bit more the auto's have adiffernt floor pan to the manuals. the rb25de gear box should last on the stock turboed rb25det if treated gently. they are the same as the stock rb20 and sr20det ones. meggala

the r33 has 370cc injector the vl has 270 cc injectors the vl turbo pumps are pretty good the n/a one are weak I think. meggala

the other option is to fit the turbo to the n/abut rebuild the motor with either of 2 opitons rb25 pistons only or the rb26 crank rods and piston they do fit. the stagea motor will drop in and quite often they are cheap the othr hassel will be the auto most stagea's were auto . if you car going to convert to manual you would be better off selling the car etc. I dont say sell the car lightly as I have done an n/a to turbo conversion and can justify the cost most times. with the gts4 it becomes more complex hence my recomendation to sell the car the start afresh. cost to convert to turbo and change to manual would be easily 10k may be more for the gts4 auto. lastly with a well set up and tuned na/ motor you could probalby see 160-170rwkw. unopened. the key is in the tune. water methanol injection would help alot as well meggala

he is looking at converting to rb25de the non turbo option a budget of 2-3k will see him through. its different if you are going to turbo's. the rb25de engine swap is the best performance mod you can do to a car with an rb20e on a reasonable budget motor cost 800-1k fitting aroudn 1k with all wiring. call sam from dr-drift.com he did mine and does quite a few engine conversions. he can also get the wiring sorted properly etc. 0425818755 he is in brooklyn and defiatly worth having a chat to. cheers meggala there is no point doing any mods to the rb20e seriously.

re the rear diff you can use the stock one its fine but lsd is preferable
-
its as strong as the rb20 det box so around 200-220 rwkw which is enough for most peoples need. bear in mind the s13 sr 20 box is very similar execpt for different bellhousing
-
not sure on the brake difference between the rb 20e and rb 25de I assume they are the same. the turbo has the big 4 spot brakes. cheers meggala

Cefiro Clutch Master Cyl Same As R32gtst?
meggala replied to BenA31's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
pretty sure they are. -
dead stock r32gtst v dead stock r32 gts25 would be a very close race. note stock means stock exhaust as well when was the last time you drove a dead stock r32 gtst they are pretty slow 1/4 mile around 15.5-15.8

Are All Rb20 Clutchs The Same?
meggala replied to LO_R33's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
clutches are the same you could possibly even use one from a vl on an r20e. meggala -
ok n/a box will work fine with stock rb25 turbo( even if you wind the boost up to 14 psi) you should upgrade brakes and rear end and have reasonable suspension. it a conversion done by a number of people and is worth doing if you like your car and plan to keep it. meggala

my rb25de has a good exhaust note according to some people I'll try and get a sound file of it. 2 1/4" exhaust one dtm style muffler on the rear stock cat. no extractors. paper pod filter meggala

the simplest way to do it it to swap the brakes from the rb25de donor car. or go to a wrecker and measure the diameter. you can go the turbo route many have done it my self included (on an r32) swap engine brakes and rear diff and you have have an r33 turbo spec. car ore pricey though.the performance difference from the rb 20 e to the rb25 de is pretty good. my cefiro with an rb25de made 105 rwkw the rb20e would have been lucky to make 70 rwkw. good luck btw there is some infomation on these pages on my site http://www.meggala.com/skylinescss.htm meggala

one last coment consider buildign an rb26 for the kind of power you are looking for 400-450 rwkw the development is there . on last thing at that hosre power dont expect much more that 10 or 20,000 klms . and more than likely sub 10 000 klms. 300 rwkw will see a much longer servicable life with a good shot of nos when your on the track. next before you build any thing I woud suggest going for a ride in a car with 350 rwkw + and make sure its what you want b4 spending all your money. cheers meggala

I did the conversion from rb20 e auto to rb25de manual. silver in colour. has lsd and tein shockers and sports exhaust. interior is very clean. has a few genuine small scrapes. would make a great na/ fun car made 105 rwkw reason for sale is I have lost interest. it has been sitting in my back yard for 6 months I'm a genuine seller so no tyre kickers. car comes with 15" jap rims mixed set 15 X7 205 60 15" tyres not the rims pictured cheers meggala $8000 firm reply here or pm. or mobile 0421399767 car is in melbourne but shipping can be arranged.

A31 Cefiro And C33 Lauel Interiors
meggala replied to DRFT_Crazy's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
r32 manual center glove box consoles fit. the only issue is the surround for the gear leaver. the auto one can be modded though, looks much cleaner than a chopped auto one its also a a bit of a head ache to get the handbrake working but is doable we used and r32 hand brake. if you are really keen I reckon you could order one through nissan aust shipping only take around 2 weeks for most parts if they aren't in stock that was on a cefiro conversion. meggala. If I remember I'll take a pic
