  10. Well hello there CC, seems we have a one-sided post here, lets enlighten the rest of the group shall we? No I can't recall this myself, but when was the last time I didnt answer your call? Or any of your calls for that matter? Now for the car condition, the car was driven for 6 months prior to your ownership and yes, 2 times, there was an electrical issue which I was assured was fixed. Perhaps a word to the autoelectrician is in order. Most of the issues you are talking about really are minor and to be expected in any older vechile, except for the turbo oil line which was fitted by ice performance when I supplied braided lines. With regard to the aircon, I had already mentioned to you it would not be worth retro fitting. Not happy with the gearbox? Well I did throw in a Bride seat that was not part of the original deal and is worth a pretty penny. You make no mention of the $200 I gave you for the supposed stuffed steering rack which wasn't stuffed at all but only needed a new boot (for the princely sum of $15). Do you even recall what I told you to do when you got back home from picking up the car? Here's a reminder, get it put up on a hoist so you can check it out. Check the brakes, suspenion, undercarriage as I hadn't had a chance to do it and most cars that are 15 years old do have some issues. Is this the first thing you did? The answer to that is quite obviously No. I sold the car in good faith at cheaper than the market value because it was in "as is" condition. Had I done the work required the price would have been easily $5-7k higher, more in the realm of where Riverside and Ni are selling their cars. You were aware of this and accepted as this gave you a chance to do the things you wanted to do and have a car to drive. You have bought a car with proven performance, lots of name brand parts, an 8 page feature car in a current magazine and drop dead traffic stopping looks for an absolute steal. Judging by your comments and expectations, you would have been better off buying a new or nearly new car. Reading some of your posts where you said you might have been better importing you obviously havent seen some of the issues and costs people have with importing highly modded Cefiros. Meggala.
  11. gts's you can get for 6k ish
  12. ignitor module and coil packs would be another place fuel pressure reg fuel pump. cheers
  13. is the car cranking or not?
  14. re your question on block strenght I think the rb 26 block will be better although I am sure the rb30 is very strong. Its been interesting followingf this thread and even this far down the path I am still a fan of the rb26 as opposed to the rb 30. one of my friends with a stockish rb 26 will be in adelaide for a few months in the new year. I'll see if I can get you guys together to compare as his rb 26 is in an r32 it makes 250 rwkw. cheers
  15. we have found with stock ecu tuning 160-170 rwkw on stock afm and injectors and 195 rwkw when you add the z32 afm when are you finding boost coming onand are you useing the .63 or .86ex housing? I hadny had much personal experiance with an rb 25 till I gotmy rb 25 cefiro but it is a very differnt motor to the rb25 Ican see why your having issues. I hope you get the result you were after when your done. cheers meggala
  16. have you upgraded the injecotors yet joel?
  17. but for the same money you can get an r32 gts
  18. I would suggest you buy a whole half cut less panels but including brakes makes the whole job much easier plus you get the gtst dash which help with resale. its not a cheap conversion if you have to pay someone to do it. but it is rewarding also an gst rear end will help then you get he whole gtst thing. people have even turboed the rb25de motor as well worth a though if ou motor is in good nick the one person who did it putted down his motor after 18 months and it was still fine meggala
  19. THAT ECONOMY SOUNDS TOO HIGH i WOULD BE LOOKING AT THE CAUSE B4 CHANGING ECU'S. BTW SORRY FOR THE CAPS. 12-14 i would class as acceptble
  20. I have been wanting a laurel for ages but they only came out in in september 89 I will definatly keep one as I prefer them to cefiro's cause I'm personally looking for a softer ride rather than full on drift spec. I can't see too many raws importing them either. cheers meggala
  21. yeah its getting lowered after reg and a new exhaust its a great car drives well. the laurel is much more luxurious than the cef. I love the electric seats and the leather is just so pimp interor pics here http://www.meggala.com/mylaurel.htm hmmmmmmmm leather hmmmmm pillarless
