As 2GU UP said.....spray bottle to apply them wet so they can be adjusted. A chalked string is pulled tight across the side of the car to mark a straight line. Im sure these are availiable from bunnings or sumwhere, even a 1m ruler and a crayon works fine.

Limpus: some of the 25 series HKS turbos like to make funny siren noises, its jus the way they spool. Spunky monkey: I've had the mosquito whine from a turbo but i've also had this full on siren noise. It has to be heard to be believed....very freaky stuff haha.

I agree with a20089, if the local paper can report on court proceeding then it should not be a problem here as long as details are percise and accurate.

These came off my GTR the other week, was told they are N1 turbos but cant find the serial numbers from the chart. Have been rebuilt by GCG before as it has one of their plates underneath. Strangely they look identical to the GT2860R-5's i replaced them with. Ex Housing says: 0.64 696-2 T695 COmp Housing says: A/R 0.6 M24 Cheers, Lozz BTW these turbos are up for sale one good one blown, this is obviously the blown one with nice chunks outa the wheel

Had the same thing on my 33gtst....freaky noise aye? My turbo was on the way out....but at the same time i blew my dipstick out and dropped a cylinder or 2. Hopefully its jus ur turbo....strange on stock boost tho.

Check afm connectors, and coilpack connections. Looks like u covered all the other usual suspencts.

I've got a set of R34 N1 Turbos or garrett equivalent. One blown one in good condition.

Ryan i believe a PM would be OK, cos its not up for public display in the main thread in black an white for every1 and any1 to see. Hence no public defamation. Silver mate how u goin? I'm in the same situation as you....i know a place where i always get my stuf cleared in parramatta. Will be taking the car there on monday and let u know how it goes. Last time for a partial inspection it cost me $18, only defects concerning steering and major compenents require a full inspection even if the dumb cops tick full inspection for an exhaust or ground clearance defect.

Does this same subject get posted everyweek? But on a lighter note, i have been so far blown away with DART automotive in punchbowl....3weeks to rebuild an engine! The car comes back next week sometime so i'll know then if Jim@DART is all that the regulars here have raved on about.

My old 33 did this in winter....maybe it was the cold causing some shrinkage of the contacts.

It was good to see SAU representing at Salon....a nice change from some of the bling. I'm with R33HVN, i am a little surprised at the comments "wishing death" upon these scumbags. Yes theft is a violating thing to happen to sum1 but death for theft?
