  1. sweet another cruise, and finally a meet point down south, good work tangles.
  2. ive been repairing chassis rails for a few years now, and thats exactly what ild do before you get defected and all attention goes to the rails. you may have to do a bit of cutting to youre bar and get a new reinforcement but least if you have a slight front ender it wont just collapse on ya.

  4. has anyone told their insurance company's about having fitted a front mount intercooler or anything else aftermarket? im just thinking if i do crash it ill rip all the stuff out before an assessor sees it.
  5. i suppose the rear steering mech would be same as r33? as i have 33gtr box and rear cradle? i think
  6. my mate was drining my stagea home for me on fri nite. (i was drunk as usual) and we had a car pull out in front of us so my mate swerved around em and slid into a gutter. so the damage is two scratched up rims and a bent rh rear steering arm. if anyone has a set of wheels i can borrow for a couple of days while i repair and paint mine that would be f*kn brilliant as i need car as daily driver. also i might try repair the steering arm if i get time at work. if not does anyone now of a stagea being wreked localy in adelaide so i can get ahold of one or even a hicas replacment bar?

  9. seen 3 stags today a rs4s passn me on expressway this morning. A s1 goin down mooringie at about 3 45 and who owns the white s2 in port noarlunga south youre rite round the corner from me. sorry i cant be more specific but i cant remember the street name and there cant be too many stags in porties. oah and i just seen my border collie put his front paws up on my door to greet me when i got home, the marks betta polish out

  11. mine seems to hold same boost right through rev range, going by standard boost gauge (right on line between 0 and 7) but yeah its hard to go flat out and watch road and gauge. ild hate to think its runing 10 pound stock, cause i want more out of it now im used to it. can anyone confirm 100% rs4s does. oah and my mods are only pod and rear muffler replaced with pipe.

  13. i got today and monday free if ya want me to cum up and have a suss with ya, can always have a couple of drinks to drown ya sorrows if we find some damage. fingers crossed
  14. solaniod aint budging still running stock or less than stock boost on both settings, ill look at wiring the ebc into the ecu and see if that makes it work. trying to get hold of previous owner to see if he remembers how he had it wired.
  15. ok its plumbed and wired took it round the block and it seems to running the same if not less boost as normal. tried dailing it up bit by bit but too scared cause im not a 100% sure its rite, pluss the fmic isnt plumbed.
  16. i was thinkn that, just didnt want to set it all up and run 50pound i might give it a go in a bit or tomoz. its just weird that the hand unit doest send anypower to the solanoid when u switch it, but hey im still learning lots about this turbo stuff.

  18. went to install ebc today thought ild test it before plumbing it right up, and came across problem. i got power to handunit in car no probs but as i switch from high boost to low and so forth the solanoid doesnt click. but if you test it straight onto 12v it clicks over no probs. any ideas? ive gone over wiring few time and seems ok. also in the diagram it shows to hook up wires to ecu for power earth air flow etc but have been told not to bother? just run power and ground to hand unit. if anyone local can maybee give me a hand to sort this out by comparing cars or help online either way it would be gangster. cheers ken
  19. cheers for the info. i might go ahead and plumb up the cooler and install the ebc and maybe run a couple more pound just to take up the loss of boost from the fmic, and see if theres an improvment. as long as you think the stock ecu will keep runing things safe. i was just a bit hesetent of uping the boost cause my mates 33 has been bumped up and as soon as you give it more than half throttle its starts to bang n shit. not my cupa tea. aoh yeah forgot to mention pod filter is in aswell.
  20. Ive had a search and cant find a decent answer. Ive got a s2 rs4s completely stock besides replacing the rear muffler with a straight pipe. ive also mounted the fmic but haven't got it plumbed up yet cause i dont wana stuff the tune up, same with my ebc. the unit is in the car but not wired. Now can someone tell me if i can tune the car with ebc and fmic without buying an aftermarket computer? if its not worth it ill just wait untill i can afford a power fc, because i dont want someone telln me yeah we can advance this, do this and f**k my motor. any help apriciated.

  22. te gemini shaved head using bench sander, classic. ended up wrapn it round a tree. te gemini wagon project,, droped in 2l efi twincam had bout 90kw at wheels. another te gem to get round in while buildn wagon. blew it up and put motor from first gem in. (my missis blew that engine up tryn to drag a hill billy in his bronco) then sold em both and bought a 1990 r31 with 100k on it and a 1969 datto 1600 with z18 turbs. i still have datto in shed with body work almost finishd cant wait to drive it again, only 100kwatw but still a hand full. fixed up a 98 sb barina and drove that round for a bit but couldnt hak it they got to be the most f%$# up car to dive. oah and i got a hd holden in good nic waitnig for resto. then i finnaly dcided to buy somthing that had some balls and was also nice to drive and practicle, stagea of course. check out some of my previous street machines.

  24. most the time its just easyer to change the box while its out the car, laying on youre back and stuffn round just aint worth it sometimes.
