Like Ras said we have our reasons!! In your post you have some valid points, but let me tell you from someone who has a r34 gtr, that doesnt require fixing, for me and alot of other people that own them the are not an easy car to live with day to day. For starters they are Fu#king hard to get in and out of in tight car spaces, and before you say it no im not 50 im 28! Mine like others with coilovers are pretty low, especially with the nismo bottom lip, you would be amazed at how hard some curbs are to get up! They have a fair degree of road noise, they fit absolutely F#ck all in the boot, I have never seen one with a towbar, etc etc.... there are many reasons for many people why these cars arent great daily drivers... Having said all that i love that i dont drive my gtr everyday, because on the days i do drive it, im not running late for work, i dont have to be anywhere, i can just enjoy the car for all its brilliance...

I would predict the odds of this car staying stock are 1 million to one... i bought this car so i could do track days, i cant imagine having a gtr and not taking to the track!!!!!

hey mate, my clutch/flywheel is stock... the drivetrain is quiet in mine. I have never launched this GT-R, my old 32 i launched many times though, what a rush! Im thinking though i will have to change the clutch though at some stage in the future when i start taking it to the track. You would have to be crazy to pay 40 anything for a xr6t, you are just going to tear yourself a new one with depreciation!

Definately agree with Johnny, I love my gtr, but only drive it on weekends, it's too low, you have to nearly have full lock on to drive up or back out of any driveway/curb. My gearbox must be in better condition than Johnny's but its still a bit notchy! Still couldnt bring myself to buy a ford!!!

It's easy to say that.. but if it was worth more, he would get more. Market dictates it's true worth, as a 34 owner im interested to see what he actually sells it for. that and only that will determine how much a good 34 gtr is worth today. I can see your point though nismo. Good luck with the sale Baron, will give it a bump if i see it drop off the first page!!!!!

Hey mate, I had the same rims on the same car, i put on bridgstone potenza SO-3's. they were 255/35/18's. they were a very very good tyre and didnt scrub at all.. hope this helps..

Didnt know you could get a factory sunroof on a GTR, also if it was you would think it would have a rolled edge.. the photo make it look like it has a thick rubber mould around it. Factory roofs seem to be a bit more flush looking.. I could be wrong though!!!

Hey buddy, from what i know, there is 2 v-spec models in the r32's.. in 93 they had a v-spec, in 94 they had a v-spec II. both had Brembo brakes, and BBS 17x8's. they definately do exist and im sure they had other differences, maybe no rear wiper or abs??? {maybe thats a nismo car??!!} not too sure, but the Vin# can be used in the forum to find out if the car/s your looking at are genuine...

At around $150-$160,000 im thinking it wont effect them too much at all. its not like poeple will be saying "I think i'll buy the R35 over a R34, its ONLY another $100,000!!!! 2 different cars, 2 different markets. that's my opinion anyway.

Thanks mate, appreciate it... will try and find more photo's of cars with pods before i write them off completely...btw nice 32 you have there!! i had a silver 32 GT-R with r34 gtr rims, i loved that car. sold it and made a profit even with the mods!! unbelieable for a gtr owner i know!!!! lol.. Still have a huge soft spot for a mint 32!!!!!

Hmmm, Not sure Guys... Jury's out for me. The one thing at the moment i do like is the full view of the 285's on the back. i think the pods might impede this view. Also mine isnt V-Spec so no diffuser which might make it look a bit "tokyo drift" for my liking. Not sure.....

Im 6'3 and 109kgs..... ask your mate what i should be driving!?!?! . He will probably come back with something like an F-250!!! I definately second the notion of Wayne. Get your mate some stanozole!!! and heels!!!

Oh and one more minor thing, on carsales you sometimes see people advertise blue suede interior trim..... They are all grey, they just fade out to blue!!! .... Good luck mate, hope you find a good one... buy 92 onwards....

Thanks mate, not too familiar with what the rear pods look like? are they at the back of the side skirts or on the front of the rear bumper near the wheel??
