  4. Hey Daz, Looks like she is back in business again now!!!!! Saw your name on the running list for tomorrows timeattack. See you up there!
  5. Ben would you mind adding these times.. thanks mate!
  6. hahaha!
  7. Stagea's and Cefiro's also feature on this forum. Are they Skylines aswell?
  8. Glad you had nothing to do with the R35's development, because i suspect if you did we would be shit canning it right now!
  9. I would be very interested to see your semi vs slick circuit times if its not too much to ask! Or anyone else for that matter... Cheers
  10. I have had a 32 and a 34 gtr and both were brilliant, the 34 certainly had a much nicer interior. I struggle to be engaged by the 33! I am surprised that any purist would pick this vehicle as their weapon of choice. Especially with models like the 34N1, nur, or aus delivered 32 in the mix.
  11. Find me a 34 GTR with this sort of work done for anywhere near that money and I will grab it! Pretty unfair sort of comment mate, and probably not very constructive to the sale! this car is great value...
  12. 55's now thats getting very serious!! I have set a goal of a 56 something this year in the gtr, Should be a bit easier in cooler months! Without a cage i think thats about as quick as i am comfortable going! Going to give high boost a go for the first time in feb and see how close we can go! Good luck on the 55's! hope im there to see that.
  13. Excuse the typo, yours is the purple S13 from memory yeah?!?! hope its nothing too major with regard to the block. My mates and i will be trying to do all of Pauls days this year, I know the Evo will be up to it, just hope the same for the gtr. Im really looking forward to the lakeside rounds too. Will definately have to come over and say hi. cheers and good luck with finishing off the torque monster!
  14. Great thread.. Looking forward to seeing the S14 in action again at timeattack. Are you tempted to get the gtr out there for a run?
  15. Nice mate, Looking forward to seeing your new setup in action!
  16. What else are you doing mate!?!?!!?!?!? Is it going to be ready for the 11th? We are going to run high boost on the T04z this time and see what we can times we can squeeze out of it. Hopefully the new balancer will keep all the belts on the car unlike last times sad effort!
  17. I think i know what you mean! All depends on the corner and the gear, but there is some timing required to make sure its coming on hard when you need it to be, on other occassions you need to short shift or feather the throttle to avoid massive powerslides on exits! It does take a little more planning than twins thats for sure, but its a good adrenalin rush I would say that on a tight track its hard work, but on a more open track the T04z would be quite good.
  18. Been a little while since i updated, We did Timeattack on the 24th of Nov, the last of the year. The Gtr decided to have a tantrum and kept throwing power steering belts. It has done it on the street before but last time on low boost on the track it was fine. The car was on high boost this time and the extra response was brilliant. I only did one almost hot lap on clubman and was only 1/10th slower than my previous PB on low boost, so its fair to say that it will be alot quicker next year on high boost. The first time it threw the belt we thought that it was over and out for the day, however someone happened to have a few belts on hand so we could get back out there. Special thanks to Mark Berry who was kind enough to fit it up for us! He didnt like the idea of a GTR just sitting in the pits and wanted to help us get it back out there! The replacement belt came off again between turn 1 and 2 at high rpm in 4th over the bumps. I managed to just turn it in to turn 2 and then called it a day and drove the Evo for the last 4 sessions. Mark said that it was a common occurence with a Ross balancer, and his advice was to try an ATI balancer, which is getting fitted next week in time for the first timeattack of the year on feb 11. Will be nice to get back out there! Hopefully the GTR will have a better day with better times! P.S- Daz, is your car back together yet?
  19. What is the latest with this project? Has it seen the track yet? More pics? More proposed mods? So many questions!
  20. Sorry to hear. Like the bollard idea though! Cul-de-sac in a quiet area FTW!
  21. Hey Paul As i mentioned on Evo oz, We have 4 spots booked for the morning session. Would be great to see some more GTR's there though! hopefully married mick will make a return! or Willo will be back out there!!!!
  22. Look no further! Buy this- http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/19...ic-t301023.html
  23. hahahahahahahahhahaha
  24. Yeah it was such a good looking car, The amount of people that looked at the car was incredible and it wasnt just skyline drivers, even old people must of thought it looked good!! hahaha. The Evo hardly raises an eyebrow, only other Evo owners and Lancer drivers But none of that matters to me. I seldom ever drive them on the road, and when i do its to get somewhere, not cruise. I would of liked the V-spec, but the only thing i wanted one for was the diffusers, mine had the front lip and nismo side skirts etc. I dont think the different rear diff makes a noticable difference and the exhaust temp, inlet temp wont be something you need to monitor at all during street use, so more asthetics than anything. I wouldnt worry too much if you find one that isnt, but if your not in a hurry the V-specs dont seem to be worth that much more than a std anymore. So it might be worth the wait to get exactly what your after! Make sure you post some pics when you get one!!!
