Hey all, Just wanted to get some feedback on which would be a better path. I have a HKS 2.8 stroker crank and was worried that the recommended 87mm bore might be pushing it with the 05u block. I know 87mm is pretty safe but I am not going to push ridiculous numbers, around 300kw or so was more building for response some more torque and reliability. To that end maybe going with a 86.5mm bore would be more suited for my application? With the 86.5 bore capacity is 2.73 or close to, with the 87mm its 2.78. If I was going with an N1 block I am sure 87mm would be fine but last thing I want is to strengthen internals only to weaken the block. Thanks

Okay got it sorted. Tacho wire at the back of the instrument cluster on the R32 gtr is yellow with a red stripe. The tacho has a constant 12 volts when the ignition is on. Gauge is triggered via the negative.

After a closer inspection I realise the silver box at the back of the instrument cluster is not even for the tacho its a chim of some sort. So the only thing left to do is test the tacho signal wire. Anybody know how to test this signal? From what I have read it is a pulse signal and not voltage driven. Thanks

Hey all, My r32 gtr stock tacho doesn't work and I have just replaced the cluster with a new nismo cluster and this tacho does not work either. I am not sure if the wires on the back of the instrument cluster were connected correctly. There is a black and a green wire coming from the tacho module. I have screwed them down onto the points circled in the attached photo. Can anybody confirm this is correct? Pin out wire 7 is the tacho signal wire from the ECU is it possible to test if the ECU is sending out a signal using a multimeter? Feel free to admire my MS Paint skillz. Thanks

Hey all, I have removed my Altessa fluid reservoir in order to paint my boot. Problem is I now I have to move the car. If I disconnect the harness for the Altessa pump is it okay to drive a short distance without messing anything up? Thanks

Spare wheel locking nut Boot carpet to cover back of the back seat Clip that holds the bonnet stand when its down Plastic inserts for front guards and undertray (GTR) Key barrel surround plastic Last thing I need is hard to describe its the plastic part where the front seat belts come out of the rear panel.
