  1. Hey Cobey, just a thought but have you tryed Chris Rogers? He had a spare centre console just lying around which I took & had carbon wrapped.
  2. I am in the market for one of these too for our coupe. Did yours come in the carbon finish or have you had it wrapped? How was the fitment length as I had read up on G35Driver that a number of those sourced from asia are too long & need to be bent or shortened? Would be keen to have a closer look at yours; whereabouts in Brisbane are you located?
  3. Spotted this V35 Ex GREDDY TRUST Showcar from Japan (which is for sale BTW, see CarPoint.com.au) minus the rear bar on the Pacific Motorway heading north towards Brisbane around 7am.
  4. Swapping out the navi controls as well as the screen to black units has really transformed the interior. Thanks again to Stephen @ Wrapture Styling for the great job & to Chris for very kindly taking care of the install. Door handles & steering wheel are next. Here are some before & after shots.
  5. Hey Victor, I was very lucky. As I mentioned in an earlier post Chris was installing an iPod connector for me last weekend when I happened to mention my plans on having the console carbon wrapped to cover the "grandpa spec" woodgrain. It just so happened that he had a spare console (the two pieces: auto shift surround & the stereo surround) sitting on the shelf. Chris very kindly gave them to me to give to Stephen @ Wrapture Styling to do his thing & then simply bring it back to Chris for him to install on an exchange basis. Having stood in the workshop whilst Chris took out the dash etc I can say that is a job that seems very easy, especially when someone else is doing it for you! If one is methodical enough in taking it apart & if you can do without your car for a few days then this is the result. I am sure there would be a walk-through on G35Driver for those who want to do the same or maybe Chris would like to type up a "How To Guide" with pics to assist further. I haven't been able to reach Chris yet but I am hoping to have this installed on Saturday if he is free & I can post some more pics when its done.
  6. Awesome Steve, I will get away from the city office at 4:30pm so I should be out at your place around just before 5pm, depending on traffic. Will need to talk to you about getting the door handles done too.
  7. My guess Chris is that this is my console that you very kindly gave me the exchange pieces for last Saturday when you installed the iPod connector in the wifes V35. I must give Stephen a call to check, followed by another call to you to see when i can get you to install it!
  8. This was my first time attending & was very impressed with the selection of cars that turned out, especillay on " school night". Spotted a number of other V's but with so many people wandering around I didnt know who was who...will have to make more of an effort next time! We arrived nearer 8pm by which time there was no parking space up or down so we had to park in the car park next to the adjacent tennis courts just west of the complex. Next time I will bring my HR31 coupe & be there well before 7:30pm so as to hopefully get a spot. Maybe next time this could be posted in the QLD Events section as this will no doubt pull even more liners to the event.
  9. Very cool & I do like the colour combination. If anyone in NSW is looking for the attached plate combination it is now avaialble as we had to surrender the plates when we got the V registered in QLD just over a month ago.
  10. All going well at work I should be there too. Looking forward to meeting you all!
  11. Hey all I am trying to locate a drivers door (coupe) weather strip to suit the wife's Titanium Silver V35 as the original part has about 4 inches broken off of it. We have tried the few wreckers online that have coupes with no luck. Located in Mt Warren Park Brisbane. PM or call 0408 066 845 if you can help. Ta, Andrew
  12. He sure was! I must admit but the more I look into what people are doing to their rides here in Australia as well as the US, the more I think that I will have to follow my wife's request & remove the NISMO S-Tune decals as well.
  13. You know Chris, its funny but now that we have the V35 we seem to see lots more of them around. I have seen the blue one you talk of & a few other silver & white ones around on my way up/down the M1 Monday-Friday. I will be contacting you in the coming weeks & have more of a chat about what we would like to get done.
  14. Hi all A month ago we picked up my wife’s new ride from NSW. It’s a 2003 V35 Premium & the previous owner was a sticker whore. The pictures attached clearly show this & we since removed the "shopping list" behind the front wheel arches, saved the badges for that nice clean look, removed the wing (this will eventually be replaced with a narrow boot spoiler) & removed a number of other decals & stickers that were plastered inside & outside the car like the Gran Tourismo one seen on the front bumper. The wife does not really like the NISMO S-Tune sticker kit but I don’t mind it as it’s just like the car that features on the front of the V35 NISMO S-Tune catalogue which I just purchased off eBay. We live in Mt Warren Park about halfway between Brisbane & the Gold Coast. Whilst my wife works locally we do take it out in the weekends for runs up/down the coast as it’s like sitting in a comfy leather recliner when compared to my worked HR31 coupe. In the coming weeks it will be given the "Chris Rogers" treatment as our Japanese is not good & will probably install an iPod connector as well as sorting out the DVD so the girls can watch DVD's when they out with us. As its now registered in QLD were unable to keep the MR35GT plates so it’s now 43HAW (4-SHAW) which is our surname. Give us a wave if you spot us, we always do so to all other liners. Andrew & Amanda
  15. End of Jan we picked up a V35 for my wife out of NSW. We are situated at Mt Warren Park, just south of Beenleigh. Here are a couple of pictures as it was advertised online. Since then the rear spoiler has gone as have the "shopping list" stickers behind the front wheel archs including the GT sticker on the front bumper & we shaved all the badges. It still sports the NISMO S-Tune decals (for now at least as the wife hates them!) but the plates now read 43HAW (4-SHAW, our surname) - shame we could not keep the NSW ones!. My wife works locally but we head out & about most weekends when she is not working so say hi if you see us. I attend most SAU cruise events, usually in my HR31 coupe but when the next one comes around, if the wife will let me, I shall bring her V35 instead.
  16. As a Kiwi living in Brisbane since '91 I have forgotten just what it was like to be in a quake, floods & cyclones are now my thing! After seeing the news tonight it has me really worried for the rest of my family & friends still living in NZ including an uncle & aunt in Christchurch. Stay safe everyone, our thoughts & prayers go out to all of those affected by todays disaster.
  17. Cant agree more, okay this is not the sedan but this just looks the business! GO BLACK!
  18. Shannon's are replacing the windscreen under insurance (damn trucks!!!) but O'Briens can not find a parts listing for the car . Anyone who can provide further assistance greatly appreciated. They have taken measurements if custom fit required. Nissan could not help as they have no record of VIN. Cheers, Andrew
  19. Just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who offered their rides for our special day. Since the day we have been very busy getting back to normality so we apologise for the delay in getting some images posted for you all to see. We have only received a single "tease" image from our photographer, a couple were taken by friends and the balance were taken on a camera phone so the quality is not the best. Later this week we are expecting to get the call from the photographer so we can view all of the photos so I will post some more very soon. Enjoy... we certainly did!!! Cheers, Andrew & Amanda
  20. Hey Brandon, I am still waiting to hear from Eddie who offered his 33 GTR. If he cant make it we will be looking for a replacement and your ride looks perfect...any chance you could be available on the day if we need you? Regardless, we will be posting pics as soon as we get them from the photographer for all to see. I am just soooooo excited (checks over shoulder for future wife)...about seeing all the cars together!!!
  21. I am simply overwhelmed by the response from everyone, truly amazing! Looks like we may even be graced by the presence of a R35 GTR (we so hope you can get time off from work Mark!). I am trying to reach the owner of the GTR replica you see here so that only leaves a DR30 to complete the lineup - what an awesome photo this would be!. Anyone out there know of one that could be available for a few hours Thursday June 25th?
  22. Hey Sam, I'm definitely putting the coupe on the dyno.
  23. Count me in there Sam, its been a while since the HR31 was on the dyno. Looking forward to meeting a few of the locals too as I live only 5mins from EFI.
  24. Hey Eddie, I've been offline for a few weeks so sorry for not replying earlier. The R33 GTR was the missing link so we would be very appreciative to see you on the day. Stoked...thats a full (sky)line up!!! We will be in touch closer to the day to confirm your participation. Thanks again!
  25. Awesome Craig! Work long hrs Mon-Fri so weekend would work best for me. I have to run Amanda at work around 11am on Saturday (20mins tops!) so happy to work in with what suits you. Message me back or you can call me 0408 066 845. Look forward to chatting/meeting with you.
