  1. last time I checked Nissan could also get them if you go into spare parts.
  2. I'm heading down, along with my crazy Russian friend, and Matt who came to Kadina in the black Stagea.
  3. I have a R32 GTS-t with a registered RB25DET, its only an ECU, turbo and injectors away from 300+KW, what's your offer
  4. Not having a go at you, but how so?
  5. As much as I love the RB20, I wouldn't use one to blow the Fords away. I would either go with a RB25 converted R32, or the 34. 20's are f**king awesome motors, but they are better at being thrashed to no end around a track than putting down 1/4 mile times (so-to-speak). I would also say that most of the 20's floating around are only running about 60-80% of what they should, they've given up to 23 years of performance (if you get an 89 model) and that takes it's toll. Unless you've got one that's been rebuilt of course, or one that has genuinely low kms.
  6. NS.com has a stolen thread.
  7. Anybody heading down tonight? Me and Pete are going to get there about 7.
  8. I've got a straight through exhaust on the R32, and have for the last 3 years, only once has a cop ever said anything. ... and you'll often find my car parked on CBD streets, not exactly garage hidden.
  9. No, that crazy night was at my house.
  10. yeah Adrian its closer to $1000 for a R33 needing a Z32 ECU
  11. Matty I'm pretty sure they dont cross reference, people run into dramas when they take an obviously older engine through (eg RB30 in a R32 onwards). Either way, I'm yet to meet a person who has personally been in the situation of not being able to register an older same-series motor. But yeah stick with the 25 I reckon, purely for reliability. RB26's are like s1uts, everyone loves them, and they're a fun ride, but there's usually nasty things that lay beneath the surface.
  12. Regency doesn't have a list of what engine numbers correspond to what year, so you could possibly get away with it, as all RB26's have the same engine prefix followed by a unit number. Send in an application to modify, and they will tell you exactly what has to be done, and if it can be done, just write TBA where it says engine number, because that way they won't put anything to the rego of the car. So if you don't do it, it's no drama's. There's a bit of a loop hole I found in the system to do with engine conversions when I did mine, but that's on a need to know basis
  13. Haha thats awesome, and Happy Birthday for yesterday!
  14. sounds f**king gay.
  15. Sorry I didnt make it, only got inside an hour and a bit ago. There is a car full of TV's in my driveway that needed tending to.
