    Dyno Day?

SAU:SA hosted a dyno day back in August, not sure when another one is planned though.
  4. Dunno, its at absolute minimum a GTS4 because the floor in the drivers footwell isnt like mine - the 4WD ones have a bulge there... Also, the climate control is piss easy to move, mine used to be at the top where the gauge trio is in GTR's, but its now on the very bottom to make way for a LCD screen - point being its pretty much take out and re-mount. I rekon it is a GTR, just with an aftermarket sunroof... I did have a photo to upload, but I'm getting mega dropouts today... Edit: R32's represent!
  5. Cash deposited. Thanks
  6. Les, what skill level are the people that enter your motorkhanas at? Ive done it quite a few times but never competed for anything...
  7. Luckilly its 40 and over, or else I'd be f**ked. lol.
  8. One please, bank transfer is easiest for me
  9. Maybe he tapped that...
  10. On a slightly un-related note, I PM'd that guy you said and he gave me all the ins and outs between the HKS 2530 and the Garrett 2860RS, plus he even gave me the part number for the HKS specification Garrett cartridge. Top bloke, so thanks for sending me to him
  11. Im in, providing my car is alive haha
  12. When I worked at the winery it could get a touch warm, but they have evaporative aircon in 90% of the work area, some even have refridgerative. Only 1 hall doesnt have anything but the building is coming up on a 100 years old so its pretty cool anyway plus there is no heavy machinery in it. At my current job which is still manual handling the whole place except the dock is climate controlled to (what feels like) low 20's. I feel for ya though guys
  13. Yeah I was talking to Dohmar last night about this sort of thing, and while I get alot of guidance from the forums, I also ask my mechanic and tuner who both have extensive knowledge of modifying imports also.
  14. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ye...-R-t249905.html Found this in the DIY section (polishing headlights).
  15. Welcome Looks good, love the look of white R33's
  16. Also the DE crossover pipe is a different shape and I'm pretty sure its plastic.
  17. far out, I guess that blows the "its put there for a reason" theory Cefiro crossover pipe here: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/cefiro-rb20det-cros...=item3ef9e4bb5b
  18. So are you saying Cefiro RB20's have no BPV/BOV at all? So they come with hektik flutter from the factory?
  19. off of a DE? pics?
  20. Ok Cheers, will give him a yell. I dont know 100%, but I think: RB20 Turbo = .46 RB25 Turbo = .58 RB25NEO/VG30 Turbo = .63
  21. I was going to buy a HKS 2530 brand new, while the retail isnt cheap they perform better than a "Garret rebuilt" 2530. The fin design is different so the genuine HKS ones spool faster. One of my friends got me an AWESOME price on a brand newy - about $400 more than a brand new 2871 - note the kit from a reputable dealer is $2999. But then I found a genuine 2530 with only 2000kms on it since brand new, fitted/tuned by trusted workshops/tuners here in Adelaide for less than a brand new 2871.
  22. They make decent power, but yeah just heard things. Another option is a highflowed stock RB20 turbo, they can hold 225RWKW, and because of the size of the exhaust housing (small), they apparantly got little or no more lag than a 100% stock RB20 turbo.
  23. If the TD06 can pull up 17psi by 3700rpm on a 20 I would go that personally. I was trying to minimise lag on an already laggy motor so I chose the HKS 2530 - it's the undisputed turbo of turbos for an RB20 haha. Good luck with it, interested to see how it goes. Edit: Never driven one, but I've heard the VG30 turbo is rather laggy on the 20.
  24. I remember you back from the mx6.com days, we went on a couple of cruises ages ago. I drove a 2 tone silver TX5 turbo back then.
  25. Well done Bec, that car of yours certainly is a beast! I remember back when you had the red 2nd gen MX6
