  1. Im sure the style police would love to crush that
  2. LOL good times, the corolla's brakes didnt work - well maybe they worked 10%, so you kinda had to not crash when the brakes failed lol. Makes me wanna go up there and relive it, still got the corona!
  3. Haha yeah I did that too - starting about 13y/o or so, old Corolla and Corona, 75 acres: Mud, Dust, Rocks, Trees, all on private property.
  4. Ruby I agree with your post (last part especially) I agree, my first car was turbo. Actually I cant even add to it thats me in a nutshell. I held my learners for 18 months, that how long it took me to gain the confidence to get my P's, the whole time in posession of a turbo car. Even now I'm not too keen on hills runs, I think about the things that might happen - too much
  5. I dont really have that big of a problem with it, however I really think if they do legislate about crushing, that they do it on the 3rd offence for "hooning". But there lies the problem, what is hooning? its an officers (and the public's) judgement. If I am at traffic lights on a 80k road, and when they go green I redline 1st, is that hooning to them - because I wouldnt be speeding. I think if they are to begin crushing cars there needs to be some serious guidelines in place to ensure a standard across the state. What Im getting at is I would hate to meet a cop on a bad day and lose my car for it... (either by crushing or impound)
  6. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much information LOL

  10. ok what about this, for arguments sake. I'm driving my g/f's GTR, I "hoon" how can they impound it if I'm not the owner of the car?
  11. Dan, your sig made me LOL
  12. And have a centre of gravity as high as a mountain range!
  13. Ruby I agree with what you say but as said earlier what worries me is the discretion part of it.

  22. Maybe there should be a law and crackdown on living life in general!
  23. Yeah I used use public transport quite a bit, in the days before I even had a licence. I lived at Hope Valley so I only ever used the buses (no trains), but I had a bus stop around the corner. I now live near Angle Vale, where there is no public transport, there is a bus that services Virginia a couple of times a day (which pretty much involves me driving a third of the way to Gawler anyway). Really I need to get myself to either Gawler/Munno Para/Elizabeth. So if I didnt have a licence I may be in a bit of trouble. I totally understand what NFSR33 is saying about his work, I work at a winery in the Barossa Valley just outside of Lyndoch, short of getting a taxi or a ride there I'd be screwed. But if I lost my licence, things would have to change, driving unlicenced is simply out of the question. Good Luck Chase, I'm sure things will work out in the end.
