Hey guys, Unfortunately it's time to sell the skyline, so up for sale is my 1999 R34 GT-t, manual transmission. I am the first owner in Australia, I imported it in May 2008 through prestige motorsport, complied at SSV, had 100k service at RE Customs. Car has done 141,xxx genuine kms (has books from Japan, see pics). Hasn't had a whole lot done to it, just allowed her to breathe a bit better: -Apexi air pod -JJR bellmouth front/dump pipe -X-Force hi flow cat -Blitz cat back exhaust (with silencer) -Splitfire coilpacks -Blitz turbo timer -Mongoose alarm/immobiliser -Pioneer head unit Car will also come with: -Stock exhaust -Stock airbox -Hardrace rear knuckle/hub bushes -Hardrace front lower control arm bushes -Spare pair of brake pads -Spare oil filter -Apexi AVC-R. I bought this second hand when I first got the car. Never had it put on the car. Like most people I had grand plans for the skyline, spent the money going overseas instead. May as well chuck it in to sweeten the deal. Comes with everything pictured. -Books -Also I still have the 'SKYLINE' lettering for the rear bar, that'll be in the centre console if you want to reapply it. Selling the car as I'm trying to get a start-up off the ground, and need the money (or BTC) to put into that. I have a daily drive and this car hardly gets driven at all. Will not come with RWC, hence the cheap price. I started getting a couple of things fixed to get it (dent pulled from rail, looks like it was used as a jacking point, have before and after pics below in case you're concerned it was a crash repair), replaced some cracked hosing, but when I took it in to get the engine looked at they said the crank case seals and head and rocker cover gaskets need replacing, which I don't have the cash to fix myself due to it being put into a start-up. Front caster bushes need replacing too (about a $100 part). I went overseas for the best part of a year a while ago, and the car sat in the shed for about 18 months, hence the crank case seals starting to leak. I looked up the costs for these issues (from memory it was roughly around $1500), about half of that is labour, so if you're mechanically minded you could save a lot by doing it yourself, if you're a mechanic you could fix it and on sell it for an easy profit or treat yourself to a R34 GT-t for cheap! Priced it so that you can buy it, do what needs to be done for RWC and still come out ahead. Am assuming people will be sceptical, especially being a skyline for $7k and this being the internet, so I am open to taking it to your mechanic workshop (not old mate's house in Frankston) at your expense for your piece of mind, or bring your mechanic with you. Apart from that, as you can see in the photos the car is in pretty good condition. The money I had put away to get a RWC I spent on getting the rear bumper resprayed, had a car park scratch on the corner, has had new bendix pads fitted not long ago. Little scrape under the front, couple of imperfections in the paint, nothing out of the ordinary. Interior is still looking good, especially for 141k kms. Car still has rego so can be test driven for serious buyers (i.e bring a deposit or organise for us to take it to your mechanic to look at at your expense), however due to it not coming with a RWC I have to sell unregistered (have to take the plates back at sale). Car has never been on a track, has never been flogged, has hardly even been driven for the last few years hence the crank seals. Price is $7,000 firm. I have owned my 34 GTT for around 2 years, regularly drive it, and I don't know what is going on but i don't get any attention from the Police what so ever. My car is pretty much stock save for a turbo back exhaust and air pod. I live in Doncaster, I go to University in Footscray, work shift work in the city which sees me going into and out of the city at random/peak periods, and I regularly visit my girlfriend who lives in Noble Park. So I would cover a lot of target area's for police targetting imports. As I am a shift worker I am generally driving around at night time, and I have only been pulled over once. Just worked the whole Christmas/NY period, and nothing. The one time I was pulled over was after I had just registered my car and was on my way to the hardware store to get screws to attach my number plates. Once I explained this to the officer (this was on Doncaster Rd) he said no worries, and then booted off to chase down this 33 which turned right onto middleborough. The only other thing that happened was when I was driving city bound along the Eastern Freeway, I saw a police car coming up beside me, it then squeezed itself in front of me (a car was up my ass) and turned on the sirens and started slowing down and indicating left. So I pulled over behind them, get my licence out n all ready, and the policeman gets out of the drivers seat, looks at me really strangely for about 20 seconds, then himself and his partner go off and start looking up the trees that are on the side of the freeway. I sat there for about 30 seconds wondering wtf was going on, then slowly drove off. A very strange moment. Apart from that, its only when the booze buses are set up, and have never had any grief from the Police. Does anyone else find that they tend to sneak under the radar like this also? Or am I just the luckiest skyline driver in Melbourne? *touches wood*

I reckon i may have gone the supra route if i cuold have afforded a twin turbo model at the time. I reckon you are better off sellin the UNR34L plates to someone with a 34, n get a new set of customs for your new ride? Have fun man, enjoy the new car.

Have been in and out of the city a few times in the last couple of nights and everytime I have spotted 1 or 2 skylines parked in the grass just after the Doncaster on ramp on the eastern freeway. There have always been people in the car, and the cars have a few witches hats around them?!!? anyone know whats going on there? people seem to just be sitting there and watching traffic go by. Went into the city and there was a white 33, then on the way back a burgundy 33 was parked there.

spotted a red s13 with SAU stickers parked on victoria parade tonight, about 6.30.

Guy drivin a blue 33 gave me a beep while crawlin along in traffic on hoddle st, about 6.20. I gave a late thumbs up but dont know if you saw it, saw ya SAU stickers as you drove past! I was payin attention to the copper on a motorcycle creepin up behind us. He ended up pullin over a red Ford on the alexandra parade entrance.

Spotted a white R34 gt-t at Vic Uni carpark, footscray campus. Gave me his car park, and his ticket! thanks heaps man, your a champion! Its hard as hell to find a park in there. Couldnt stop n chat coz i was runnin late. Thanks again!

Spotted a red r34 cruising down eastern freeway at about 6.45pm yesterday. No rear wing, looked like nismo tail lights. Car looked mint. Was cruising behind ya on my way to work. Think i saw SAU stickers on the quarters as you took the chandler exit i think. Also Spotted a blue Stagea, dark tints, clean lookin ride, in a southbank carpark. Parked a spot down from ya!

Its the level that staff park on, so its always well patrolled by security, and there are generally staff coming in and out of the building all times of the day/night. Bit more of a deterrent to nick a car from up there.

Spotted SKYL1N cruisin down maroondah highway, crossing station street in Box Hill. I was turning right onto station.

Pulled in to 7-11 on doncaster road tonight at about 10pm, came out of the store and saw a white 4 door R34 pulled over by the undercovers, gettin a 'please explain' about how loud the exhaust was. Waited til the cop got back out of his car before i babied my car out of there in 3rd. Pretty freakin unlucky man, hope your on here, want to know how it went. Cop was like "rev your engine........thats just a bit loud dont you think?". Looked like a nice car you got there too man......

yeah that be me. Was at work. Yeh cheers mate! Just got the zorst the other day actually. Had to put the silencer in coz it was loud as all f&%k! Has a pretty nice tone now tho. Didnt see your car parked around there, you must have a nice hiding spot on it. You work at crown or just park there coz its got surveilence and nobody goes up to that level?

I just got some thinggs installed at stylin last week. Couldnt be happier with the results, real clean and quick to get the car back to you, worked over time.

I usually finish work at around 3.30-4.30am-ish, leaving the city, weekdays and weekends, and by the time I pass thru most booze/drug buses have well and truly packed up for the night. All I see is parked cars lining the freeway, obviously been done for somethihng. And I see some f*cked up people driving at that time of the night, no doubt about it. IMO they should stay set up until at least 5am. It is amazing how much dodgey shit you see going on on the roads at that time of night. But this weekend, i did not see one single BT/DRUG set up going home (city rd, hoddle,eastern fwy, doncaster rd) and usually theyre a hot spot.

Girlfriend lives in the apartment blocks there. I work just nearby also. Have seen a white R34 GTR with a cf bonnet parked out there a couple of times. Put a card on their window. Havent been to a meeting yet. I know they are only around the corner but everytime Ive been working night shift. Have seen all the skylines parked down Moray st when its on tho. Such a nice sight!
