  1. put the cardboard boxes that the parts came out of in the yellow lid (assuming thats recycling) and the rest in the green (general waste) you may also take the water pump down to sims and cash it in... :laughing-smiley-014:
  2. ^^my stag visits this place most weekdays.
  3. dont like it champ? get off your ass and find something else to do! i know heaps of guys that have/are doing fifo work and love it and are getting well into the six figure pay range, good mechanics get good money, why dont you? aleks, if being a mechanic is what you want to do then do it. dont listen to some jaded dude that was no good at it to begin with.
  4. my advice is to only be a mechanic if you realy, realy love it and cant think of anything else you would rather do! i did my apprenitceship through the army and would not recommend it to anyone, got to see abit of the world though. as a diesel mech you can earn good coin but you work your ass of for it (by sat arvo i will have done about 60ish hrs for the week and thats nothing compared to the guys in the mines that do 12hr shifts, 3wks on 1off). IMO the mining industry will kick off again in about two years. it aint going to make me rich but i love my job.
  5. would not the turbo waste gate open and only allow 10psi???
  6. licence:..................full years riding:.........10ish bike:......................mighty RZ500 x2.5 other:....................bout a dozen RD250/350LCs, RG250 x2 (one with a 350LC engine) CBR250rr ZZR1100, stupid fast and heavy as. i would give my left nut for a RG500 and a NS400R (incase someone has one hiding in the shed and a strange desire for a left nut)
  7. mate, bandag bullets engines are old detroit diesel two strokes that have "blowers" or scavanging pumps rather than supercharges, only the turbo is actualy adding any boost.

    Lock Diff

mate, the problem wont be with your center. that floating feeling will be your rear sub frame moving around on crap rubber mounts that are becoming more and more flogged out with the massive load a locker puts on them. all the rubber bushes in the rear will be suffering.
  9. WTF??? i fail to see where it says they where street racing. i usualy pull up at the next set of lights (if red)
  10. i dont see any reson that this meeting can not be held in a open public meeting style, invite afew mp's, the media, someone higher up in transport sa and even some of the engineers that are certified by transport sa.
  11. s1 and s2 are the same. my hight at the rear is 360mm and my aligner set the rears at -0.5 each and still had heaps of adjustment. highly recommended. didnt have them in stock, had them freighted in overnight.
  12. steel turbo wheels did not come out on the gtrs till the r34 so i cant see it being true.
  13. fitted like a dream! easy as to install and heaps of adjustment. might paint them black for that stealth look though . getting new tyres and a alignment firs up in the morning. they cost $290ish inc.
  14. my KTA128's get here tomorrow afternoon and will be going straight in. i originaly purchased superpro camber bushes for the rear but could not be assed pulling the hub out to install the outer bushes ($330 inc gst). Kidafa, i am getting my arms from cartorque on north tce at kent town, have used them before and recommend them.
  15. ^^ oh, yes please and a price?
  16. Mate, done this trip afew times. look out for animals ie, camals, cattle, wedgetail eagles and buffalo as you get up past tennant creek. make sure you stop in at mataranka springs bout 100k this side of kathrine and go to the thermal pool this side of town. there are some awsome places up there and some wild pubs and clubs in darwin . have fun
  17. well, had a heap of cars ranging from a mini, half doz rollers (ke20s ect), a hq gts ( sold it for $3k, look at the price now!!!) the usual v8 commonwhores, vf val hardtop, v8 vr stato then in 2001 while hang'n round at joes golden gasolines i spotted a wine red r33gtst and traded the stato in there and then. that car was stolen and torched in 03, drove the wifes 92 roller around till we decided what we wanted for our next car. we looked at all types of shit, volvo v40s usual commo-falcons (all wagons as we have the most ridiculas big dog you can imagine) very unimpressed with them all then found our red s1 rs4v with leather and sunroofs.
