  1. Would like to know this information also.
  2. Have done about 30mins of sliding 2nd and 3rd through some quicker corners near my house after trying to fix some of the symptons described in the first post
  3. Worst timing too (is there a good time to blow a head gasket? ) cause I'm about to have an operation and won't have an income for a while. Ah well, looks like it becomes an expensine lawn ornament for a while.
  4. My RB20 is pumping coolant out of itself and I've got no fking idea why. On a very short drive just now it near on filled the overflow bottle and there was bugger all coolant in the rad. The other day I took it for a decent thrash and the overflow bottle was bubbling away and pissing fluid out, the rad was pretty much dry, but the car didn't overheat or even rise in temp. It seems like the cooling system is under way too much pressure. About the only thing I can think of that'd cause that would be blown head gasket, but there is no oil in the coolant and absolutely no smoke coming from the exhaust under load. Is it possible to blow a hg in just the right spot to pressurise the cooling system but no have coolant enter the combustion process or would there be another reason for this? I've tried to bleed out the air bubbles in the system using the little bolt on the front side of the inlet mani & also using the rad cap, both times it basically never stopped blowing bubbles out. Not sure if this is a clue or not to what could be happening. Also, first time time I noticed this problem was after popping a cooler hose off when the turbo spiked to 1.5bar
  5. yeh bro its definantly a nylon based turbine wheel as they are designed to spool up quicker and are not glued on they are bolted on so its less likely to blow of like the ceramic ones make an offer

  7. Driven this and it's pretty quick for the mods, freakish motor. Good fun car without the cop hassle.
  8. Not much Matty, the track car coming along? I spotted ya somewhere the other day but can't remember where or when didn't think it warranted a post in the thread

  16. Some of those are either going to, or did, make a great comedy routine. Observational humour at its best
  17. LOL it's a 100 man, get used to that I'd track down somewhere in JP where you can get one then talk to Streeter about getting it here. Bought a few grand worth of shit through him for my 100
  18. Nice, that was a good buy for the cash he was asking, how much better than Nissans are they LSD depends on your driving style, but being a big car something smooth to lock like a TRD one would probably be easiest to learn with. some guy on jzx100.com was looking into aftermarket diff bushes developed in Aus last time I checked. That was a while ago so you may have a local option by now. This is a fair point you raise, good sir
  19. So you did end up getting a 100 Rhys? fking sick man don't bother with the Torsen shite if you wanna slide it, if you're definately keen then go straight for a mech LSD, and find some 4.3 diff gears from an A70 supra while you're at it. One thing I never did to mine would've made SO much difference. You don't need a kit to get it sideways Dave
  20. Would be fair keen. Gotta sort out my wack clutch issues though: went out satdy night, paid my $125 (plus about $70 of fuel, plus the rest on parts to upgrade what was shit last time) only to steam into turn 7 for the first time and have my clutch pedal stay on the firewall If I can sort my shit out I'll be at the next prac on the 5th BTW Dave, you still gotta let a certain someone get your rig sideways for some artsy pics yeah...
  21. It isn't, I am just amused by it
  22. congratulations Damo, you have earnt 10 +repz for the above post. On another note, I am slightly drunk
  23. Thankyou sir, may I have another? Nah top notch mate, A+ viewing.
  24. Didn't you hear Vu? Anything involving japanese cars, early commies and/or P platers is deemed 'hoon behaviour', the Advertiser said so
  25. Damo, your old SAU:SA chick was the fking bomb, high res pics for me? *puppy dog eyes*
