Plenum, Rocker Cover And Bare Aluminium
hobzta replied to dontfeelcold's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
I have used the VHT paints...both in engine enamel and fire proof and have had no issues with them. I have painted rocker covers on a sr20det, g13b and rb20det and had no issues...and even painted extractors, intercoolers/piping and exhaust/intake manifolds and never had any bubbling or flaking etc -
IIRC you will need a rb25 cross member too as it makes the engine sit lower in the s13 allowing the bonnet to clear the rb26....also I'm pretty sure if you stay with the TT setup you need to mod either the strut tower or the manifold as the turbos foul on the strut tower in the stock location.

it's actually held at Eastern Creek raceway...not at WSID itself. It's on March 3-4.... http://www.eastern-creek-raceway.com/

I find that so funny thou...coz in the ADR's it says nothing about a limit on diameter (except that the overall rolling diamteter must remain as close as possible) and it's all about width and track dependant on GVM

that's awesome...I want one !!

D Style Wings - Buy From Carmate? No?
hobzta replied to steveo_r33's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling

Difference Between R33 Gts25 And Gts25t
hobzta replied to R33GTS25's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I would say if the brake system is different then the rotors and possibly the calipers are bigger on the gtst...you'd be best of getting them, you should get knocked back at engineering for not having them, but I am yet to see anyone get knocked back for not having the larger brakes. -
what do you mean by revving it up...are you only giving it a quick stab or are you holding it at a higher rev for a little bit ?? also how far are you reving it ?? Having a higher oil pressure isn't too bad, like said above there could be too much oil in the system...you'd be alot more concerned about it not moving when reving...or even dropping

also car has been regularly maintained, and has had the timing belt changed in japan prior to coming to Australia in 2002/03

hey all, I have decided to put my skyline up on the market, sort of tentively at the moment as I will only sell if I get what I want for it and also I have another car I want to buy....if I don't get what I am looking for I'll just keep it. 1995 Nissan Skyline R33 GTS-t Series 1.5 approx 128,000kms white in colour pretty much standard, only mods are: - genuine Nismo LM GT2 2-piece rims, 17x8 and 17x9 (over $4k worth) - 3inch mandrel bent exhaust (comes with 2 different mufflers) - hybrid dual-stage electronic boost controller (running very low 8psi on both low and high) - slotted rotors front and rear - Schnieder cd player - genuine nissan floor mats - Nismo front grill overall the car is in awesome condition, only has a bit of wear on the gearknob and boot and on the right edge of the steering wheel. I have owned the car only for about 6weeks, I bought the car from UAS. Only reason I am selling is I have beeen offered a good deal on a 180sx and I really want to get back into one. Price is $13,000ono, however won't be selling for much lower than this. Pictures: Skyline Front Skyline Rear Skyline Engine Skyline Interior

you will need proof of residency to get a licence in another state...I am having this issue at the moment as I don't have any prrof. they only except things that don't have "changeable addresses" i.e. rates, rental documents, utility bills (elec/gas/water). As for the back dating thing, I am sure this is the case here now in NSW. You used to be able to drag out a court case and get more points, then just lose them and not lose your licence (depending on the points of course) but I believe that have now changed this so it all reverts back to the date of the offense. However I still believe that the suspension period starts when the sentence is handed down...I think if they want to revert the date for the offence, they should for hte punishment too, but I guess thgat would mean some people would never really lose their licences because of how slow court proceedings can be.

NSW is illegal also...not 100% sure about the others thou. To get a licence in another state you need proof of residency in that state which has to be something linked to that address i.e. water/electricity/gas bill, rental contract, purchase recept/contract, rates bill etc etc. The states all got together and changed the law recently so youcan now no longer used a "proof" that has a changeable address like a phone bill, bank statement etc etc as to cut down on people getting interstate licences when they aren't authorised for one.

R33 2 Door Final Konexion Body Kit
hobzta replied to Anthrax....R33's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
that's what I was thinking of getting if I do a full kit....if you do it make sure you put up pics so we can see what it looks like !! I got my 180sx fully kitted, was only gonna cost me $700 painted and fitted, but they couldn't match the paint properly (stupid red cars), so he charged me $1,500 but that was with a full external respray -
X-Racing in sydney also do these kits, can't remember price but I think they are somewhere around $1-1.2k http://www.xracing.com.au/product_info.php...products_id=928 http://www.xracing.com.au/product_info.php...products_id=930
