Same things pretty much happening with me now.. i got reversed into by a drunk and unlicensed driver while i had my misses and the kids in the car!... the guy tried to drive off until i stopped him and told him id call the cops... long story short he gave me his phone number, told me to call his misses, get her insurance details and make a claim... On my quote i got my repairer says: Tail Light - $? (May be hard to source) And they are expecting me to find a new set of tail lights!?!

Ive had my Stagea for nearly a year now and recieved a letter from GIO Custom Car to renew my policy. So i open the letter to see how much its dropped (just turned 21 and now fully licenced) and its gone from $200 a month to $384!!!... So i ring them up and they tell me i've been dropped back from a rating 4 to a rating 6 caus ive made a claim even though the other driver has taken responsabilty and their insurance is paying for the damages... After explaining the situation and getting everything sorted out I'm not down to a rating 3 and they will be sending out new renewel form with a new figure... Anybody else been stuffed around by their insurance company?

My car was off the road for around 2 months.. had to wait for a mate to remove the transmission, then wait for about a month for the transmission to be rebuilt (wait for parts ect) then another week for my mate to put the trans back in.. finally got the car back Friday and feels really nice to drive with the shift kit in it.. has abit of a kick into gears but not to solid that it snaps my kids necks lol

I was going to use mine towards a new front bumper, hks split dump and maybe get a new Greddy intercooler.. but decided to use it to upgrade my current PC and use my current parts to build another server for my house.. so car's going to have to wait for tax time..

Goodluck with getting the box rebuilt TJ.. hopefully it doesn't take as long as mine did to get parts ect.. finally get mine back tonight.. cant wait to drive it with a freshly rebuilt, shift kitted transmission in it

Ive been offered one of those ecu's for free for the fact that its extremely hard to get them tuned... i know of only a few places and some which get a tuner from Japan to fly out..

Sounds like something similiar to what i just had done to mine.. Stronger clutches, kevler bands, all new steals and Stage 2 shift kit.. cost me $2200 from KEAS/GZM Automotive

Yeah colours are abit sydney spec.. If i was to respray my Stagea i would have to agree with BKC34.. Cherry Black is an awesome colour, had a Senator that colour and was flawless when it was clean..

Won't be my last car as i'm on 20 and i'm already on my 4th car ... But i think the Stagea is one car i'd keep as a project if i brought a daily driver in the near future.. how many show quality Stagea's do you see? or Stagea's with the potential to do 10's?.. Id like to do something different.. pull the RB25 out and sell it to make way for a 30/26 or pick up a cheap Supra or Aristo half cut and do a 2JZ-GTE conversion (puts flame suit on)..

I was in the same boat about 6 months ago.. Had twins on the way and needed a bigger car, but wanted power still as at the time owned a HSV Senator and previously had a VL Turbo.. Talked to a few guys about the Stagea and Legnum and was told the Legnum's have to many problems.. With my Stagea im easily able to fit 2 car seats, a twin pram plus all the other baggage that comes along with taking the kids out and coming home with more than you left with (women and kids clothes/toys shopping )..

My car is running 18x8.5 with 225/35r18's on the front and 18x10 225/40r18's on the rears with a pretty agreesive offset and i have no issues..

Dude, get a massive transcooler.. you would be suprised the difference a good transcooler can make..

Im pretty sure you can import them and compliance them here... Southern Special Vehicles in Oakleigh has one in Transit at the moment..

My Stag has been off the road for the last 3 weeks.. Auto's getting rebuilt with all the extra goodies as we speak Everyone keeps asking me out of the 6 months I've owned my car how many times have i driven it as something is always playing up.. first it the 4WD light coming on and the car shuttering, then it was the coil packs causing the car to misfire all the time, then i had issues with bad terminals causing the car to cut out all the time now my Auto.. I'm hopeing after my transmission is back in my headaches are over.. or im gonna come home from work one day to the car on the front lawn with a "Free to good home" sticker on it caus the misses has had enough..

My car passed a compliance, rwc and was checked over by Vicroads for registration and had no hassles with the front mount thats on it now.. Should have any dramas changeing it to the Greddy cooler setup as it uses similar pipeing as i have now..

Meh stuff the cops.. im gonna go a Greddy LS intercooler setup on my car when i replace my dinted and scuffed cooler...

Kinda looks the same but the bar the caryard had on it was a Abflug bar.. there rare as hensteeth to find and are over $1000 for a new one from Abflug in Japan then you have nearly $800 for postage ontop of that..

As much as it makes me wanna cry everytime i get in the car i'll probably just leave it as id need the whole drivers side pretty much resprayed and will cost a fair bit.. not worth making a claim through insurance as im 20 and the excess on my insurance is rediculously high.. plus the only money that will be spent on the car will be new front bar, new intercooler, turbo & dump and aftermarket ecu.. maybe full respray if i keep the car for awhile

I feel your pain mate.. i left my Stag parked in a shopping center carpark to come back to a long scratch from the front guard to the rear door! looks to have either been done with a key or a buckle on a handbag..

That Viva bar looks great on your car mate and you pic just helped me heaps.. I have a S1 with the same dolphin kit and have been tossing up weither to get a Viva Type M bar or another Monkey Warehouse Nismo bar as mine is cracked to the sh!thouse and your pic just made up my mind

Here's a very rough chop.. Trying to decide do I save my money and slowy buy parts to do a R34 front end conversion and just continue taping the cracks in my bumper.. get another Nismo look alike from Monkey Warehouse or get a Vivgarage Type M bar..
