  1. Search for Nissan Fast Torrent.. its a program that has to be downloaded
  2. Got abit excited when it seen the R34 conversion kit and then remembered R34 non xenon headlights are around $1000 a pair then around $2000 for xenon head lights.. bonnets are only $100 for a second hand one so the conversion would be relatively cheap apart from the damn headlights
  3. This may sound like a stupid question but does anybody know if S1 Stagea's came with remote central locking caus my car only came with 2 normal keys from a locksmith when i got it from the importers.
  4. I have exactly the same problem with my car... It came imported from Japan with an aftermarket steering wheel.. everything was fine still one night air bag light starting flashing and hasn't turned of since.. nothing had been touched so I'm not sure why it came on all of a sudden..
  5. It's gonna be your coilpacks mate... I had exactly the same issue once i raised the boost to 10psi.. Car was missing badly around 4500rpm then would slowly clear up... changed the coil packs to spitfires and now pulls hard all the way through to redline..
  6. Obviously it has been removed by the mod
  7. As stated make sure you have a Arial Amplifier has power if its the factory headunit.. if its after market remove the arial amplifier and go directly into the headunit with the two pin to single pin adaptor.. I had shocking reception in my car so i removed the arial amplier and went directly into the headunit with just the adapter and now have 100% reception..
  8. Thanks for the info.. was that $2000 with a shift kit installed? caus my transmission is under warranty and covered for $2000 so i might aswell get a shift kit installed if its gonna cost me nothing..
  9. not long after reading this thread 3rd gear let go in my Stagea ... It shifts fine from 1st to 2nd but when it try's to shift to 3rd just revs and i have to manually shift the auto back to 2 speed.. taking mine up to my mates house to throw it on his hoist, give the transmission a service, tighten the bands, if no difference looks like a rebuild for me..
  10. I've got 18x10 with pretty much the same offset on the rear of my Stagea and it doesn't scrape at all..
  11. Been looking through this thread and thought id bump it back up with a few pic's of my Stagea from the Auction and Auction yard.. 1997 Nissan RS-Four V Stagea (Sonic Silver) Came With: FMIC HKS Intake 18x10 Blitz Type 3 Racing Wheels Mix of AB Flug & Dolphin bodykit Suspension work 3" Exhuast Blitz Engine Oil Cooler & Transmission Cooler all with braided lines
  12. Yeah, well in my case the FM Expander was causing my problems rather than fixing any... I now have 100% perfect reception with just the two prong to single prong converter.
  13. Think i might have just fixed it... I tried connecting the Amp remote wire to the blue wire to see if it would power up the antenna and improve reception but no difference.. Then i noticed i have an adapter that the Japanese 2 prong aerial connects to which converts to the normal single prong that goes in the FM Expander... At the moment I'm at work and the car is parked in a underground multilevel car park... I turned the headunit on running through the FM Expander still.. no reception... removed the adapter from the FM Expander and plugged it directly into the back of the headunit.. turned it back on and BINGO! Nearly perfect reception.. Its still not 100% but thats most likely due to all the concrete being in the underground parking.. Will see how its goes on the way home..
  14. Just went and pulled the headunit back out and i have a AERPRO FM Expander which connects back the the loom with the yellow/black wire. From the AERPRO FM Expander i have a red wire which connects to the antenna wire on the back of my headunit. The wire which connects to nothing is a blue wire with two connecters off it that has a tag that says something along the lines of: System control (Male Connector) Auto Antenna (Female Connector) Now should i snip the female connecter off and hard wire it to my Amp remote wire on my headunit? Will these fix my reception issues?
  15. Got it off eBay mate.. so you wired the blue wire up to the aeropro antenna amp?
  16. Ok guys i know I'm probably gonna get flamed for this but I've searched and havn't been able to find a straight answer.. I finally got sick of the Pioneer headunit which came in the Stagea which was in Japanese and CD player didn't work. So for Christmas my misses said she would buy me a new headunit so I took the risk and purchased a cheap Eonon E1012 DVD head unit which i got around to installing today and seems to work fine and for a close to $300 if i get 12months out of it I'm not complaining. Radio is able to pickup stations fine but as soon as i start driving it drops in and out or has interfearance. All wires are wired up ok except for a blue wire which has a tag that says something about antenna on it. Is this wire ok to connect to the amp control wire on the headunit? Does it require a fuse for safety of doing damage to my headunit or should i connect it to something else?
  17. I say paint up the shell and put it on one of those electric drift cars.. that would be freakin awesome!
  18. Put afm in the cooler piping and it shouldnt stall.. reason its stalling is rush of air through the afm the opposite way which is confusing it and causing it to stall...
  19. Depends, if your running a standard exhaust and no aftermarket front mount intercooler i reckon 130awkw.. With the very small mods you have your very restricted at the moment..
  20. Yahoo auctions is your friend ... go to www.importmonster.com.au and sign up!
  21. Mine looks pretty much the same and i was able to pull the top one out with some gently persuasion then slide the bottom one up and out
  22. Not an Ab Flug kit.. have seen similar kits on Yahoo Japan Auctions.. Looks tops man, you'll definitely enjoy it!
  23. Just took mine out then and it was a peice of cake!.. If only Holdens were as easy to pull apart as Stagea's.. Filters were filty as, looked like they had never had a clean.. there now soaking in washing detergant hopefully hey come up good as new!
  24. I found this website at work one day and got all exicited... http://www.geocities.co.jp/SweetHome-Ivory...uninggaisou.htm Its some Japanese geocities page which has all the brands which make bodykits for the Stagea's ect..
