  1. not enough oil, or too much, or wrong type. What oil did you put in it, please don't say Magnatech! lol
  2. Yeah thought you were using something long, no way you are going to get that kind of DOF and Bokeh with the kit lense. I almost bought a D90 but decided the Canon 40D was more suited to what I wanted, was a very tough choice though. I really must get my camera out and take some more shots.
  3. I run Pioneer TSD1702C 6.5inch Splits for the front (Great Speakers and very clear) you will need to make an MDF spacer to get them in under the factory grille and clear the window, Pioneer TS-A1682S 6inch 4-way speakers in the rear parcel shelf (they're ok I only got them to complete the sound stage), in the boot I do run a sub though, but it fits good and is in factory made box, it's a Pioneer TS-W307D2 - Champion Series 12inch. All this runs off a Pioneer GM6300F 600w 4 channel amp for the speakers and a Pioneer GMD7400M 800w Class D Mono Amplifier for the sub. All up a pretty well sorted system and does me fine with the added ability to remove the sub if I need too. Problem is fittin gthe amps to the back of the seat in the 32 as the boot isn't that roomy lol
  4. There is quite a bit of info on this around the web, a lot of people state the best tyre pressure for your tyres in terms of performance, wear and comfort is the MAX pressure stated on the sidewall of the tyre minus 10%. So under that assumption it would be 55 - 5.5 which is 49.5PSI. That seems a bit high for me, I would stick to between 36-40 PSI cold pressure.
  5. they are stiffer springs than in the Aus Spec so up to you I suppose. I don't have an issue with Aus Spec, they do cost a little more though.
  6. I've got the Oz Specs on my 32R and love them. They are softer in the spring rate compared to the Jap Spec which is great for Aussie roads but I'm not sure about the damping rates. They are ADR approved too so you can't get defected for them which is a plus in my book.

    Shell Petrol

fuels are actually clear, they put colouring in them for a safety reason, basically so you don't accidentally drink it lol! I'm pretty much sure the smell would put you off if you tried! unless you live in NT! Oh no I didn't lol
  8. but I've seen Aussie market cars with HID's and no washers :? I thought they just needed auto level. Washers on lights are useless unless you live where is snows, they don't cool the lights down or anything so can't see why they would be needed.
  9. MaTBoY - What lens and body have you been using? Your pics are very good.
  10. yeah it's a commodore but who cares, it's not something I've ever seen before and that's what makes it cool, it's never been done before. Nice find Trent
  11. didn't take long for ACA to pick it up. It's on tomorrow night I think the ad said

should read Optimax - Car - No Bike - No It's called VPower now
  13. ^^ The part that says Burwood Hwy lol
  14. Car/Mods: 1994 R32 GTR VSpecII with 157000km / Stock turbos @ 1BAR, Nistune, Stock airbox with K&N (now apexi pods but just installed them so I'll use the airbox kms), front pipes and full Kakimoto 3 inch, un-opened engine, Nismo twin plate clutch, Tein SS and still rolling on VSpecII wheels. Gas of Choice: BP Ultimate $ Per Tank: around $80 I think, I always fill above empty so sometimes it's as little as $60 Kilometers Per Tank (Based On Driving Area & Driving Style): 500-550 for some reason my car doesn't care if it's Freeway, city, traffic, no traffic or giving it stick! For the record I drive to and from work everyday from Melton to Hawthorn so freeway the whole way pretty much but westgate is sometimes a carpark. As a comparison GOR weekend cruise I got 540 out of that tank and I did not go light on the right foot! Other Comments: Keep it clean and serviced, I service every 10-15000 kms with whatever synthetic oil I have at the time, keep the fuel fresh as it does lose it's RON over time and that can't help with the economy side of things. Also drive smoothly blah blah blah you know how to drive economically!
  15. nice 32 mate, welcome to SAU!
  16. They didn't do anything anyway! they got off with a warning~!
  17. It's def chookas, here is the condition report from Pickles Clicky look at the build number, ED0001 same as chookas. Interesting that the condition on teh panels says "FAIR" would have thought they would be perfect!
  18. wow, lot of tough guys on here Cabby could have easily chased them got the rego and then gone to the police station and filed a report, they would have got the same warning they got and he would have come away clean instead of with egg on his face (lol see what I did there) He obviously scared them by trying to run them off the road, he should have left it at that. I still think he's a douche, he's lucky the car full of boys didn't get out and kick the sh!t out of him, especially the way kids are these days.
  19. Have you checked your Loom and done the MAF joint with fresh solder yet? That's a LOT cheaper than new Splitfires. If it's not your coils then when you get your new ones you will have the same problem. The above 2 fixes will take bugger all time to do and will cost you all of $5 for tape and solder a little more if you need to buy a soldering iron too but still a lot less than the Splitfires will sting you
  20. A cabby getting empathy??? I dunno, I can't stand cabbies, have had them falling asleep at the wheel before and had to keep hitting him to wake up because talking to him didn't work, hell, I even turned up his clang clang music and even that didn't work. In the end I told him to pull over and I got out (he wouldn't let me drive lol) then on way back via cab the driver was total opposite and thought he was the bloody Stig! I rekon the kids deserved to cop a scare, but for the cabby to try and run them off the road and then smash into the side of their car is a little bit too far IMO, surely smashing into them caused more damage than a couple of eggs that could have been washed off at the nearest car wash. Then to get out with a tyre lever AND a knife! WTF is he doing with a fricken knife! He deserves to be charged but so do the kids
  21. Might hurt your wang a little though Monkey
  22. for the best, Micolour. Others have also used DT Panels.
  23. I looked at a Supra there before I got the 32, nice blokes, let me test drive etc, had a knock in th esteering apart from that it was good condition, they also get in 260RS Stags every now and then. I've heard no bad stories about them yet. They bring in a lot of JDM vans and evos
  24. yes, but dit you have any cracks in the epoxy or not? If no then you wasted your time. Try doing the loom as well, you'll probably find it has a split somewhere, otherwise I rekon it's dry solder joints in the MAF Sensor. Fix it by resoldering the joints Tutorial Here
  25. na already running full exhaust from dumps back so that's not needed. Was just having a dumb moment. Thanks for the reply's guys. Thread closed/
