Yes this is true, but I don't have the space to put in a hoist plus if you bought something like these then you could take them with you if you moved house a lot easier than a hoist. about 30 minutes ago saw a white 34 GTT on Kings Rd in Taylors Lakes, SAU sticker on rear quarter window, no wing and an asian chick driving. I lol'd because in my mirror at the lights I could barely see driver and passenger heads over the dash (low max maybe??) you could state in th eletter that under Australian Design Rules that the speedo of your car can be out as much as -10% to +10% of the actual displayed speed. polish aint gonna get that out, looks like it has gone down to the primer, just take your paint code to auto barn and get them to do up a pressure pack (spray can) in the right colour, it will cost you around $30 and is goo quality paint.
