  1. They do +/- 1 degree, these do better with grease nipples too (just stops em from squeeking) but will work just as good in current form. Good kit I have them in my 32R
  2. I got Kakimoto turbo back, two mufflers. Loud enough for me and I don't have to clutch in when I go past a cop or a booze bus
  3. My oil is usually at 90, today went a tiny bit over due to Aircon on but hardly ever seen it over 90. Last year on those 46-47 degree days it got to a bit over 120 but 90 is fine dude. The water temp is a little high though.
  4. not saying it was only the OP. Look through the thread, he has been called a theif, shifty, etc. Just because his account has been online doesn't mean sh1t. He may have a family member that is using his account, or a housemate, I personally don't know the guy but forum rules are forum rules and they should apply to everyone. The OP also has another thread about this exact same thing and has already been told by people on here that know him that they will try and contact him. He was also asking in that thread for contact details for the dude. IMO the thread should have been locked ages ago as it is going nowhere and now has nothing to do with the original question from the OP.
  5. Dude I fully understand but there is a way to deal with these sorts of things and posting crap up on a public thread without the other party involved able to state their side of the story is a bit unfair. As I said in my earlier post, we have no idea what happened and why the parts weren't sent, hell for all we know he sent the parts and they have been lost in the mail. There are too many variables that we just don't know about to be judging someone. Read the Forum Rules: Board Rules Defamatory remarks made towards businesses or individuals will not be tolerated on this website - We understand that if you have had a bad experience with a business you want to warn other people of said experience. Unfortunately, the same publicly expressed opinion could be viewed as libelous and/or constitute an attempt to deter business from any individual or business. Australian law holds the site owner partly responsible for any defamatory remarks posted on said website, and that is unacceptable. Informing people via PM's is tolerated as it is not a public message. With this said, feel free to post any information about a business or individual that you have had good dealings with.
  6. ^^^ Agreed, this is the second thread. A 3 month wait for parts is not uncommon, especially if they were coming from OS. We don't know enough about the transaction to be bad mouthing a member and at the moment have only one side of the story, there are a few people on here that have vouched for him and as has been said we don't know the reasoning for his departure from the country, he may very well have gone OS just after the sale happened. Rather than post it to the forums for the whole community to read, send a PM to him or a Mod and deal with it that way, no one is going to give you contact details for the guy over a public forum anyway, well I'd hope not cos that would piss me right off.

    E10 Fuel

the 100 octane fuel at united is 98 with 10% ethanol, it's the same as the old VPower Racing. Ethanol mix fuels actually degrade your fuel economy and you will get less KM to a tank so it pretty much averages out the cost saving by having to fill up more. 10% is not an issue for most cars but the E85 is a different story, for that you'll need aftermarket ECU and a retune.

Black 33 GTR and black 34GT (maybe GTT) at Centreline yesterday, 33 GTR looked nice, wasn't there today though but the 34 was still there. I was getting front inner ball joints done. Now all suspension sorted except dodgy shocks. Tein Super streets here we come!!
  9. You could do it faster with a turbo attached to it.... Oh wait, sorry I thought this was the Forced Induction thread. My mistake. If you cut it this way it makes 4 Quarter Pounder burgers... SPAM BURGER, SPAM BURGER

That's me dude. Saw your car was going to post it here but forgot till just now. Are you the dude I always see driving round up here? I always give you a wave of a light flash and always get one in return. Never get to catch up though as we are always going in oposite directions. Fark you rear muffler is BIG!!! Oh and I still come on here, just don't post if I don't have anything to say
  11. I thought they were just there to stop the pins from rattling, your pins have retainers in them so they won't fall out. Not 100% sure though, they may do something else.
  12. My 32GTR is daily driven about 110km each day of the week and I don't lose oil like you are stating. I had the rocker cover leak at one point but just tighten the screws up regularly now and don't see the issue anymore. But it is apparently a common thing for the rocker covers to work lose.
  13. Agreed, I had the same problem with my 32R. But would like to add another possible solution. My GTR would stumble and felt like 5 cylinder running, only sometimes and sometimes worse than others. Try to accelerate out of it and it just bogged down. Tried plugs, oil, coilpacks, air and fuel filters, cleaned AFM's and none of this worked. I took out the AFM's and did the solder fix from the DIY section, this fixed it for a bit, well bandaided it then it started again but not as bad. Took the coil pack loom out and checked it all and there were a few spots where there were splits in the insulation and you could see bare wire. Got out the trusty nitto tape and taped the whole thing up and problem has not come back in over 20,000KM.
  14. Thanks dude, still for sale too. Wife breathing down the neck to advertise it "properly" so might not be round for too much longer.

  16. UAS has the following: ROSS 2 PIECE BILLET TUFFBOND BALANCER FOR RB26DETT - $675 R33 GTR N1 HARMONIC BALANCER - $460 UAS GTR PRICELIST
  17. I don't really rate the Adrenalins that much. I had them on all fours but now only running them on the front with Kuhmo on the rear. At best the RE001 is average in the wet, no where near the amount of grip I got from Eagle GSD3
  18. Sorry I was a bit quick to state it can use more than 4GB of ram. Windows limits it to 4GB but if you patch the kernel you can get it to read more. However, the 4GB limit has been lifted for Ready boost. The 4GB limit of 32bit Windows is a bit archaic IMO. It is to do with driver support and the intel and AMD architechture. There are other 32bit OS that can handle more than 4GB happily unfortunately to get Windows to, you need to "play" with it a little. Will update the running of the 512mb box once it's completely finished.
  19. Not so with Windows 7. There is now no 4GB Ram limit in 32bit OS. So you can run as much as you like. Have a machine at work utilising 24GB of RAM on 32bit 7 OS. On the netbook front, I have it running on an 1.7GHz Atom processor with 1GB Ram and it is doing just fine. About to test on 512MB Ram with shitty single core and see how it goes. Just for giggles of course. Gotta do something that looks like work in teh IT field
  20. I rekon they'll come up with you giving them between $900 - $2100 lol
  21. did you strip your balance weights off? what pressure were you running in the tyre? were the scales digital or analogue? calibrated? did you have the centre caps on? Valve stem cap? did you add in the weights of all your wheel nuts? did you clean your wheels and tyres, brake dust and rocks in the tyres would add to the weight. All your tyres come from the same factory at the same time from the same machine with the same amount of rubber on each one? This question has soooooo many variables that it's pointless asking how much it weighs.

Could have been me, but I am silver not grey and my car isn't that dirty. Hard to keep a silver daily driver GTR clean when I drive 500kms a week just going to work and home. Where abouts on the monash?
  23. 3a Racing pods for the win
  24. Why would you need a recording device? I have not once come across a bad cop. If you are doing the right thing and not acting like a tool then you will be fine.
  25. I've had 7 running on the laptop for the past 2 weeks. No issues here and I didn't do a fresh install, just did an upgrade from Vista Business to 7 Ultimate (32bit). One thing that is better than Vista is it's able to run on a lesser system. I had no problems running Vista but 7 runs so much better. I am running on a Lenovo R61 with 2GB Ram, and a lowly Intel Centrino Duo T7100 1.8GHz. Best thing about 32 bit in 7 is that there is no longer a 4GB limit on your RAM. I am using 2GB but have a 4GB USB Stick running as ready boost. Have had no compatibility issues although when I did the upgrade (didn't want to have to back up the whole system then re-install everything) I did have to uninstall iTunes and my Canon SLR software but once finished have re-installed them and they are working fine. There are lots of little niceties that are in 7 that have never been before, the ability to drag your taskbar open program tabs to anywhere on the bar itself (like tabs in IE and FF), when you have a whole heap of windows open and you want all but the one you're working on minimised just click the top of the window, hold, shake and all others will minimise. Little things like that make me happy. We will be rolling this out at work in teh not to distant future, once we have tested stability with our core software. Microsoft WIN for a change. Oh and the Mac is better comment... Enjoy your tarted up version of Linux lol
