Ford territory drivers are the worst drivers in OZ!!! Everysingle time I see one the person behind the wheel is driving it like they are in F1!! tailgating, speeding, erratic changing of lanes etc. etc. People must think that because they have an XR6 engine in them that they must drive like one! They sh1t me to tears!!!!!

Had no probs on the rally car with atmo BOV and it runs AFM. Used to with the old Blitz but changed it to a GFB Stealth and set to full atmo and no probs. Used to stall with the blitz as the piston wasn't closing so had to continually stab the throttle when braking to a stop. Was no probs though. Was thinking of taking the Stealth off the Mazda to put on the GTR cos you can vent just enough air back to the inlet to stop the stalling but still get the sound of the atmo BOV. Dunno yet if I'll do it but might be fun for a while, I do miss the sound it makes.

I've actually seen something like that on a couple of race cars, looks like it works like a massive heatsink like on a PC. Would work better plumber in at the front of the car or somewhere it would get airflow I rekon.

no didn't check but have a look at the other pics on his page, very nice MNP 34GTR and love the wheels!

LUmley Special Vehicles (LSV) FTW!! Shannon's wouldn't touch me because I am in western suburbs, car in carport, no front fence or gate, parked in city in multi storey "park safe" they straight up said Nope. I called LSV and they said yep sure no probs, Insured as a 32 VSpec II so they will up the cover each year to reflect the value of the car. I am very happy with them. They also don't care that it not in the city anymore during day and is also sometimes street parked while at work! Bonus number 2 is they are cheaper than Shannons. All they ask is pretty much same as Shannon's etc, ADR approved alarm and 3 point immobiliser. I didn't bother with Just Cars either as they only give 10k back for an import if it is stolen and not recovered no matter what you are insured for! FAIL!!! PS - No I don't work for LSV or know anyone who does hahaha Edited to Say - LSV also give you Full Salvage rights for $100 = BONUS!

Black look sweet but you'll be forever cleaning the thing. Finger prints, bird crap, dust, dirt, water stains from ya washers, pain in the ass if you ask me. Be different, Go Calsonic Blue with white rims *drool*

^^^^ Doesn't matter dude, your insurance will still cover it, well if your insurance company is a good one it will. Exact same thing happened to a mate of mine in Taylors hill the other week, High wind screwed his garage (panel roller) and he didn't know. Opened door up started to drive out and the thing let go and crashed onto his car! His house insurance covered it. Can't hurt to call them to see

*insert Peter Griffin Laugh* hehehehehehehehehheheehe

^^^ Can you see this stamp without the engine out? If so where do I look!
-
yeah can get the plates from blitz or GFB

leaf spring rear is not acceptable in a modern 4wd (aka H3) even the patrol ute came with a full coil option! in the high country if you buy it!! All I saw up there last time was Patrols, Cruisers (80s & 100s) and landrovers. All the cruisers and Patrols we were with had bars winches, lift kits and decent tyres etc, not one of them had lockers and not one of em had a problem even in the snow covered steepies! Get tried and proven not new and optioned!
-
IF you only need them for guard clearance etc why are you buying good tyres at all? Or asking for 2nd hand RE55s? Go to a tyre shop (any) and ask for some 2nd hand ones in the size you need, you will get them for about $30 tops. Go to the "richer" suburbs as they like to rip their standard rims and tyres off their Euros to go bigger or better, so can usually get cheap conti's, pirelli etc in the larger sizes

HAHAHAHA!!!! You could put 6 fully shick subby's in da back and 6x9's in da doors, den some shplits in do front men. Go for it bruz!! then dump it on some powder coated inta septaz and fully black out da windoz and stick sum neons under to make it look like itsh flyn men!! Shick!!!! Den goes down ta chapel and rok da viper room!! Do it Hamish... Just Do IT!!!

I Need A Tunable Ecu For My Rb26, Whats The Best ?
BeEnAr replied to 555kkk's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
^^^^ You'd be surprised how often this happens. Sometimes they mix left over 98 with regular and sell it as premium. I know this for a fact as have had to deal with a servo through work which has done this before. I run NIStune and am very happy with it. Got it very very cheap and Trent tuned it awesomely!! -
Patrol weak???!!! You must be talking about the 3 litre. Get a nice 2nd hand 4.2lt GU and you're set!! Or get a late model 100 series cruiser. Neither are weak, and compared to the hummer will be more reliable, better off road and mroe comfortable. Sure the 200 series is too expensive and if you are talking about the engine in the patrol being the weak point, pull it out and drop in a 6.2L V8 Turbo Diesel for a tad under 10k
-
Yeah ProMaz or MazTech are the ones I'd go to. MazTech will sting you in the pocket though if you're not careful or they suspect you are a spanner!
-
The only thing in common between a Cruiser and a Hummer H3 is that they are both BIG!! Worst thing Hummer did was put bloody LEAF SPRINGS in the rear end!!!

Thank the jap owner before me, my car has this GONE!!

OP you have a 32 GTR, ever even thought about NIStune?? -
You want Kuhmo or Hankook in Preston, try Tyrepower or Donnellans on Bell St

OK you got it all wrong. The hose that is attached to the T now, put that it the top of the solenoid. Get a new hose and put it going from bottom of solenoid to the T piece. then you are all sorted. Edited to say - Sorry I just realised that my pic is not showing you the colours etc when enlarged. I will upload again for you if you still having probs.

Try these guys RMS Motor Parts They sell them it seems

Main problem I see between euros and japs are not the labels that go with them or their initial price tags, it's cost of running! You think a GTR is expensive to upkeep and run.... Try an Audi, BMW or Merc. They are all going to run you into the 000's when servicing comes around. Mercedes for one say they don't machine discs anymore because it's unsafe and their discs are not made to be machined, instead they replace them all! What a fricken joke! it runs you over $800 on a c180 to get them done so I can only imagine the higher models! BMW run like sh1t if you don't service regularly, and Audi are only driven by Cocks (hehehe). Parts are rediculously priced too, and tyres, forget it if you have to replace a run flat in a Euro size $$$$ I'll take my Jap cars any day of the week, at least you can fix em yourself and don't have to worry bout 1 of 79867 computers in the car stuffing up!!

The image from Stock GTR is for a RB26, see the twin turbo's, the solenoid is in a different place on the GTR's to the others. I have highlighted the Solenoid and the hoses in the image from WOrp3d for you as he is a little bit wrong. Hope that helps a bit more
