  1. Here is the plate. I think it may be for a clutch, I can't find too much on Google. It would be good to know what it is. One of those quirks you get when you buy an import I suppose!
  2. Sorry pics will be posted tonight, I have been a bit too busy to take the photos yet. I am unsure if it's for a Nismo clutch or not, I don't know if the car even has a Nismo one. I am just going by what the dude told me. Would they actually put a plate in the engine bay for a clutch?
  3. can anyone help with this one?
  4. OK guys I have something a little different that I need clarification on. I own a 1994 R32 V-Spec II and in the engine bay I have a NISMO plate next to the Blue nissan plate. It has a number on it and all that but I don't know what the hell it's there for. I was told it is because it has a Nismo clutch in it, but I can't see why the'd stick a plate in the engine bay just for a clutch. Any ideas?? I will post pics up when I get the car back tonight (getting fitted with Red Stuff F & R). Thanks in advance
  5. Cool I will but some Circlip pliers then and look at doing it. Problem is I am still unsure if it a stock shifter or not. It's very short in the throw but I am used to my Familia GTAe which is a hell of a lot longer.
  6. Thanks mate. Is it a hard job to replace them?
  7. Here is the pic I said I'd post of my GTR with both spoilers... I think it looks sweet with both of em.
  8. Hi guys, Finally got the GTR, now come the barage of questions... This will probably be the first of many in the coming months. I have a gear stick that rattles, it does it the worst in 3rd gear when the stick is left un touched. If I move it up about 1-2mm with my finger it stops. It does it in most gears but can be stopped by moving the stick that little bit to the "sweet" spot. Is this normal? I am unsure if it is a short shifter or not as I have not driven another R32 GTR. How can I tell if it's a short shifter or not? Well I think that's it, short and sweet. Thanks in advance Jarrod
  9. I'm still keen, Pick up my V-Spec II tomorrow arvo
  10. My V-Spec 2 has one of em with the standard one too but I wanna keep em both on the car, sorry. It looks pretty sweet with both on. I will post pics when I pick up the car tomorrow
  11. So any word on where we're at with this??
  12. No assumptions were made into the VL being the only car you have owned, just stated it cos it's in your details on the left. Hey and these windows taste good dam it!! with 25,000 odd posts I susspected you'd been here a while, or you have no life, either way it doesn't make you the GOD of the forum, so why shouldn't you cop a flaming for typing shit like anyone else would. Sandown was in one of my earlier posts, I think it is a good place to have it too. Calder would be cheaper but for sure! Sandown would be much better. I'm sick of defending/attacking, can't we just be friends? It's gets all lonely down here at the bottom! HAHAHAHA Laterz
  13. Yes I only have 13 posts (14 now) but who cares, you were yourself once ot my post count. I don't care if I get flamed either, words are just that, WORDS. I was just putting my ideas there like everyone else, except mine were actually useful rather than durrogatory. Flame away.... I'm obviously a newb nobody cos I don't have 1000 or more posts yet. Don't mind me I'll just sit in the corner and lick the windows seeing as I am a "f*ktard." Anyway back on topic... If there was to be no "National meet point" and it were just a state by state thing, then in Vic if Calder was out, wakefield could work, or heathcote park. Maybe could use the pits at Albert park, would make a good photo. Coburg Drive-in has a big enough car park for a few hundred cars, Bundoora park usually hold car shows for hot rods and the like so maybe we could have it there, it's pretty central. I Agree with inark though, in the fact that we need to have some sort of structure, media liasons etc are def needed to get quality photos and coverage. The major mags need to be contacted, Motor, Wheels, HPI, Speed (do they still produce this?) Pitty the c-word isn't on anymore. Could write to SBS and see if Top Gear Australia wants in on it?? Anyways I'll be sure to bite my tongue before I write my next post.
  14. Yeah I know mate was just stating it for a previous comment.. "if you're interested we can arrange a test-drive... I think they were joking as in Australia no R35 has been complied to the roads yet." Test drives to me is a valid reason for driving Starting the thing was enough for me!!
  15. Well that was useless dribble. Don't like calder then use Sandown. Calder is cheap which is why i suggested it. Oh I know, we could have it at Drag tag then you could take down you VL moite!
  16. That's the N1 spoiler isn't it??
  17. I'm in. If not at the mountain, then we should do it locally, Calder Park would be pretty easy to get for the day, plus that Cars show the Deiter Kuznitz hosts with Glen Ridge, is usually there testing cars out, maybe we could get them on board, We'd have nation wide coverage then. a year to save on petrol would be plenty of money. Should have enough Go Fast juice, even at $2 a Litre, for a few tanks at least, plus there are plenty of servos close by.
  18. I was down there on Tuesday to see where my VSpec was and I got a "Special tour of it by the owner" He let me start the damn thing!!!! Oh my god it's porn!!!! Engine sounds awesome, and the sound system is freaking sweet!!! Seats are comfy, though I think if you were larger in body frame (read A FAT ASS) I thin kthe seats may be a little small for you. Oh and it looks prestine even though some of you disagreed with "the sponge". Their detailer is a magician and worked on it for 3 days to get it looking like new again! They won't do test drives as they need to keep it under 150KM. Compliance is not needed to drive it on Aus roads as they have trade plates. He told me the same thing $160,000 plus on roads. They are all a great bunch of guys down there so go and LOOK at it but keep your greasy mitts off it, it's black and shows all ya grubby finger prints LOL. They have some real nice cars down there besides the R35 too.
  19. Rather than start up a new thread, I will just add onto the end of this one. I just bought for my 32 V-Spec II the following Pioneer DEHP6050UB Head Unit Pioneer TSD1702C 6.5inch Splits for the front Pioneer TS-A1682S 6inch 4-way speakers for parcel shelf Pioneer GM6300F 600w 4 channel amp - to run the speakers Pioneer GMD7400M 800w Class D Mono Amplifier to run the sub Pioneer TS-W307D2 - Champion Series 12inch Component Subwoofer (2 Ω Dual Voice Coil Type) 1200W Max The sub is boxed in this pioneer box http://www.strathfield.com.au/home.aspx?pa...p;productid=125 I hope it fits! Also got a Sony 4G 4ch wiring kit and an extra set of Sony RCA's All up price installed was 1960 on 12 months interest free, would have been 1810 cash price.
  20. Hey guys, I had no luck on this thread. but if you try http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/VI...html&st=700 You will be sorted
  21. How do you guys get the options as well???
  22. Thanks heaps for that chook. Now if I could only read japanese..... hmmmm
  23. Yeah fair enough. I just needed to know asap because I was finalising purchase, otherwise I would have waited. Sorry if I sounded like I was impatient didn't mean to. Anyways I agree with you, would be great to see with my own eyes. Hey Chook, any chance of still getting mine done too seeing as though Hanyou's and the 34 got done??
  24. Dude, I couldn't be bothered waiting anymore so I just called local nissan dealer, asked to be put through to spare parts, then asked if they could FAST my car. They did it over the phone and everything checked out, whole process took about 5 mins if that.
  25. Hi, I posted this in the FAST software thread before I found this one. I am new here but I am in the process of buying a R32 GTR VSpec II (in compliance now) so I can retire my 92 Mazda Familia GTAe. Just want to get it all checked by you guys. Chassis No — BNR32-311484 Model — KBNR32RBFS8ZAA I am pretty sure it is all legit as it is a reputable dealer. Can someone also tell me how to decypher the model number? i.e. what all the letters and numbers mean? Thanks and great site by the way.
