if you put lead in or do anything else to kill them and the council come past and see all tehse dead magpies around and on your car they will ask questions lol. I forgot to say earlier, another way to keep them off is to put a rubber or plastic snake on your roof, they won't come near it!
  2. So was it none or only a promo girl with a nice rack???
  3. ^^^ What he said! tutututututututuuuuu
  4. hahahaaa That's 2 threads over a year old he's dug up now! At least we can't say "USE THE SEARCH"
  5. hehehehe All I can think about is you going HERE And then this happening
  6. might want to tell people what suburb you live in dude, so they will know if they're nearby Are you talking about C spanners for ride height adjustment? Or do Kei Office have a special tool?
  7. Hahahahaa Thread Fail!!!
  8. I got done there once for 105 in 100, and this was over 10 years ago and they chased me (i was in an EF Falcon) so I'd say you're right. They always sit there and ususally a radar will chase you especially at night as they won't be able to read your number plate at those speeds. You may have been lucky and he may not have had the radar up and ready or may have been scanning another car.

bitter agent won't work on magpies mate, sorry to disappoint you. We used the horse stuff for our dog's bowl to stop them and it didn't phase them one bit. Best thing I can think of to stop them is a car cover if this is at home.
  10. Suzuki Swift or Baleno or Toyota Corolla would be my 2 picks. Ask any mechanic in the trade what the most reliable cars are and 9 out of 10 will say Toyota. Get a corolla, camry are a little bit more to keep running. I do have to disagree with Rowdy though, XF falcons are not reliable and they are that long in the tooth now that finding a somewhat decent example that won't need any work is going to be bloody tough. For under 2K you could get an ex taxi EF-EL falcon or maybe even an AU but I'd still go the Corolla over any of the fords if you only need it as a runabout. Parking something so small is a breeze.
  11. any new coil packs are going to be better than what you have for at least the nex 5 years so just spend the money on what you can afford

yeah I lock my car when ever i'm not in it anyway. I remember about 8 or so years ago, I was driving with a mate of mine and we were at a red light at the intersection where that bob jane that got smashed is, there is a Shell servo across the road. Anyway for some reason we were checking out the STi that was filling up, so the guy goes to pay and some dude jumps in the car and burs off outta there like a mad man, cutting across 3 lanes of traffic into a side street. We took off after him and when we turned down the street he went down he was gone. Ever since that day I have NEVER left my car unlocked at a servo or when I'm just going to leave the car for a couple of minutes. 20 seconds is all the time it took this low life to take it (must have been running still or on the turbo timer or something) But yeah, I still think it's the persons own fault for leaving their car unlocked, only reason I can see the police caring for is because it's less work for them to fine the owner than it is to have to find the car or stolen goods.
  13. you sure it's egg??? hahahhhaaaaa

depends if she they drop all the money for the cops to "seize" as "evidence" lol
  15. I'll have a look today and see if I can figure it out. Might be to do with Hicas or something too.
  16. Cool, thanks Graeme, it's always bugged me is all so thought I'd finally ask someone and who better than our resident VICPOL representative

Don't worry, it's a Supra dude, no one is going to steal it
  18. hey Graeme, isn't there a set distance if doing a TUPMED (follow) of 300m, what I mean is, don't you need to be following the car for at least that distance? Or is that for Timed distance (point to point) measurement? When I was on my P plates a few or more years ago and driving my Mazda, I got done by an off duty cop in his personal car doing (estimated) in excess of 120km/h in a 60 zone. I wasn't pulled over, I got home a couple of hours later and had 2 police cars come to my house and 4 officers come to the door to give me the card of the off duty officer and asked me to call him. I called him and he asked who was driving my car on (insert road here) at (insert time). I said it was me and he then said I drove past him as he was turning out of a street and he took off after me and got to 120km/h and I was still pulling away from him, he then said he estimated my speed in excess of 120. I wore the fine ($1500) and licence loss of 18months. Now that I am smarter and wiser and have a better understanding of the law, could I not have fought this and bought up the argument that an off duty police officer is not allowed to speed in his own car and he had no accurate measurement of my speed? It's always bugged me is the only reason I ask. He was a Senior Constable or a Seargent from memory. But still I didn't think police were allowed to speed unless in an unmarked/marked car and/ot on duty.
  19. hehee all good mate not saying that the OP was a dumb ass or anything but yeah, some people will read the thread and go and use their new found knowledge and yeah, well you can fill in the rest lol. I can just see some douche bag cuttin ga big hole in his quarter panel with an oxy torch though hahahaaa. Geraus - Good to see that those bolt extractors worked! They are bloody brilliant things!

It was on the news last at start of the week. $117 fine adn if you contest it it can cost up to $360 in court. Funny thing is, it's always been the law the rekon, they have just never enforced it. Yarra Ranges Police have started enforcing it, no warning at all. If you leave your car unlocked and you are further than 3m from it and the cop comes up to your car and opens the door... BAM! Fine for you! I rekon you should park your car, leave it unlocked, hide in the bushes or go and sit on a park bench and when cop comes up to check your door, push the button and lock it. Heheheheheheeee Oh and I agree, it's a stupid bloody law.
  21. until you bounce the chisel into the strut tower or mash the thread o fthe bolt with it lol. I know if you're mechanically minded it's not a hard thing using the chisel, but if you're mechanically minded you shouldn't be rounding off a non rusty 14mm bolt either
  22. Where is it, I have 94 VSpecII I will check now if you like?
  23. Use the easy out's for bolts that have already been posted. Use the right tool for the job, not some hack job that might make things worse or might damage something else. If it's a money issue then buy em, use it and take it back to bunnings and say it wouldn't fit the rounded nut. They will take it back
  24. yeah and don't forget to stay to the left, even if the road is not marked for 2 lanes in one direction, if it's wide enough stay to the left, I lost 2 points or something for driving in the middle. Use your own car, you are allowed but will need to have signage put on it saying "driver under instruction" Hey at least you only got 2 fines and didn't get dicked for the P plate
  25. Shouldn't this be in the for sale thread? Which Tyre is brand new? Also, didn't 33GTST's come with driver side airbag? Just curious. GL with the sale
