While we're on the subject of visitor imports, I saw a rather unusual sight a few months back. while i was driving back from work one day. i saw an american couple driving a LHD lexus sc430 with new york plates. at first i thought they just picked it up from the docks and on their way to the worshop to be converted and compliance. but now that you've mentioned it, i think they're on overseas visitor agreement.

I owned an Autech S15 for 1.5 years when i was on my Ps. it was excellent car for a non turbo. unique and clean. can and will keep with alot of bigger cars. in terms of reliability, it depends on the condition of the car you get. i got mine for a premium price. genuine mileage backed up with books etc. the time that i owned it everything was smooth. abit of advice if you do decide to buy one. make sure the engine itself is in top condition. because if it fails. your screwed. autech sr's are hard to come by.

good quality gts-t are even hard to come by in japan these days. if you look at the japanese auctions most are graded RC or 3C. so why even bother importing taking that risk. it's a definately a buyers market here. they're literally flooded with r33s.

don't even bother expecting workshops to changing any fluids for you. times have changed and at the price of what we pay for compliance, don't expect anything. they will however fill up your washer bottle if it's running abit low.

Completely understand what your saying. it's probably just that im frustrated and want to get my car because i put a deposit for my car september '09. broker finally found the car early march '10.

My car is also in the workshop awaiting compliance plate. i've been waiting 3 weeks now and still no sign of the inspection guys nor plates. wth is going on??? i've ran into the most bitter import experience yet. 3.5 weeks to get import approval. 1 week for quarantine. now 3 weeks and counting for plates.

Hi as titles says i need a r34 gtt factory aero/altia kit. front bar must have mesh. i don't mind if it has scratches, cracks or dents. as long as it's repairable. also im after a r33 gtr factory front mount intercooler in excellent condition. no dents or creases. preferrably sydney pick-up but also willing to buy interstate. Aero/Altia example Cheers

Could be acheived with mentioned mods. but boost is definately increased. 276hp isn't much at all. it's only 200kw.
