Hi mate, I'm pretty sure the xenon lights came as a standard feature on all series 3 models. anyways something smells fishy. here are some possibilites the car might of been in a front end accident where the owner didn't bother replacing back xenons. did you ask the dealer if its an accident vehicle? some brokers/private importers/dealers purposely swap the xenons out before they send it off to compliance. they do it for the best interested of their clients. get the vin and check it with NISSAN FAST for the build date. Hope this helps

Specifically for BCNR33 when it says "GTR/V" does that mean it's a V-Spec and the ones without the extra "/V" is non V-Spec???? cheers

I have a pair of reverse sensors up for grabs. located in sydney. they are no brand but they perform really well. my mate has used these in his camry for years now. so it's safe to say that it's durable. -sensor itself detects up to 1 metre. -comes in black colour from the box. -digital in-car display INCLUDED. NOTE: It's compulsory to install the display screen because the beeping sound comes out of it. However if you still prefer without the display, you can safely tuck it away somewhere on your car. Certainly sounds like good way to counter odo tampering but what if people decides to clock back the mileage just before registeration time? it's a possibility because i know for a fact that there are user-friendly tools that are commonly used by individuals in asia. in mainland china and taiwan. i think they call it "mileage correction tools". with modern odos being digital. i'd think one could easily edit mileage with access. As for the condition of the age. i'd think owners who are serious about preserving the low mileage would put great effort into doing so. older parts can always be replaced with new. But i can totally understand the logic of what your saying. it's just weird to me that the "common" and "famous" jap imports always seem to have ridiculously low mileage and the uncommon ones tend to have a much higher.

sounds like they had it all figured out. to the point where even if someone were to clock back their R35 it still wouln't slip through. am i correct?

"alot of people saying on that forum, if ur getting somthing thats an import turbo its hard to maintain and they fall apart." thats if you get a lemon. theres no such thing as jap cars are unreliable and hard to maintain. that goes for holdens and fords as well. as many members here have mentioned. take care of the car and it'll care care of you. simple as that regardless of which make and model. as for the falling apart. it shouldn't fall apart as long as theres minimal mods. heavy mods = puting stress on different components thus "falling apart". Got my Silvia S15 imported last year. I tried my best to find a low mileage and completely stock car. finally found it. it had one owner. when the car came from japan. i full serviced it myself. changed the engine oil, gearbox and diff. flushed the radiator coolant also did a fuel injection service. the car has been well eversince. only problem was the alternator shit itself. i got that fixed myself DIY. part costed $100.

Off-topic: So does that mean Nissan Australia will not be getting full volume and grey imports are possible in near future? because as far as i know. full volume is unlimited supply but they are only bringing in 33 cars per year?

is there a particular reason why in other states they prohibit the use and registeration of LHD cars? i personally think it would be awesome. its better to see people driving in a LHD porsche 911. its just more original.
