hey guys im looking for a combined aftermarket dump/ front pipe for a r32 gtst would prefer one with separate wastegate/ turbine outlets but if you have something else i might consider it also after a cheap r31 box dont care if its got bearing noise or whatever as long as it works fine ie. no crunching into gears and all gears intact. if you have any of this stuff for sale send me a p.m cheers

ok just want to know if a local rb30e box will fit in a r32 gts-t without mods im quite aware that they have inferior syncro's etc just need a cheap replacement for now as my current box is fairly shagged

Ok long story behind this question so i'll get straight to the point. does anyone know if removing or cutting the radiator support bar will decrease general chassis rigidy ie. is it structual and forget any problems about legality its not an issue in this case.

Ok got a bit of an odd idea lately. Doing a rb30 conversion in my 32 soon (gts-t) and as my original rb20 gearbox is slowly on its way out ie buggered syncros etc ive decided i will change that at the same time. I was just wondering if anyone has used a 31 box in a 32. also if anyone has a turbo (local) 31 out there how much power can the box take. I know a 25 box is a much more sensible proposition but at this point in time i would simply like to know if a 30 box could handle the punishment as im building a turbo SOHC rb30 for my brothers Datsun and he doesn't really want to fork out the extra cash for a 25 box. any help would be much appreciated thanks guys

yes im bringing this post back to life to say that i am now looking at a boot mounted radiator setup not unlike the team orange drift cars or garage sauras gold r32 GTR i think this setup will provide a solution to al the previously mentioned problems with my original design. Before you all tell me how complex this is to do please keep in mind i am well aware of this and have the necessary equiptment and skills to complete such a modification. once again any coments or constructive critisism would be much appreciated

nisskid is right you could have a negative offset but if the spoke design is wrong it may not clear the caliper

hey nisskid you got a set of o.zs i was looking at but then decided to by your rims instead though lol (would of looked like twin cars if i got them hey). anyway back on topic personally i reckon those c8's would look nuts on a GTR but i have a bit of a soft spot for old school style rims

i believe that is the original trust airinx air filter i dont think they make that anymore. take a look at upgrading it to the arinx II which is what i used to have on my 32 (now on house mates s1 r33 cuz as the same afm) it worked well was fairly cheap sounded great and trust makes kits that would bolt directly to the afm for a 33 so no adaptor is required

ok thanks for all the suggestions guys. i am currently working on moving the intercooler slightly forward and the radiator about 2 inches back ill let you know how this works out

hey thanks for all the comments guys i'll be taking them into consideration. a few problems have already been rectified. i have placed the afm back into the intake and mad a new hot pipe which is a lot smother and is one piece. it seems everyone is generally against the idea of thermo fans if anyone here is running thermo's can you let me know if theyre working any good. i still like the idea of this setup and have seen several track and drift cars running a similar setup. i am currently working on some ideas to try and reduce heat soak into the intercooler. heres an updated pic
