  1. Yes it is fine especially on a street car that gets nowhere near the punishment of a track car and if on e85 it is almost bulletproof at 300, you can start looking at 350 and still be safe on e85.
  2. bit off topic but why the gtx3582 if your going for sub 300kw? or did it come with the car? Maybe try selling that off and getting something like gt/gtx 3071 will be much better to drive at that power level. That powerlevel a good stock 2nd hand motor that hasnt been rebuilt will do it no worries so a fresh one definately no problem aslong assuming things like your tune and maintance is kept up.
  3. You want the 256 8.5mm lift and depending on what yeat your r33 is either s1 or s2 cams up to 96 generally have the old CAS so youll get s1 model and 97 ones had newer CAS so they are s2 cams.
  4. No problem. They sound awesome aswell, heres what my setup sounds like if you want to hear it. http://youtu.be/lP5tbJ0WLlw
  5. Here you go mate
  6. Sure are quality is extremely high and brenton is great to deal with. Here is a pic of the inside of the collectors and dyno results of before and after manifold on my setup with only change being manifold and turbo converted to ext gate boost was at same psi .
  7. Thats not e1oo its e10
  8. Ive got a brae hi mount manifold which pricewise is similar to 6boost but the construction and gains ive had cant be compared to cheap stuff you can buy under 1000 so I personally wouldnt go any of the cheaper stuff unless your on a budget and performance gains from it arent that much of a big deal.
  9. If u want to get it local repco can get them in aswell through one of there suppliers. But teah u need the type posted above, the one u showed wont work on rb.
  10. The tools are cheap I bought 2 a few years ago for when I did my springs with head on they were about 30 each I just had to grind it down abit since the diamater of the tool was to big to fit in rb.
  11. The seals wont fall down its the valves that fall. You can do it by either using the compressed air method or filling the cylinder with rope from the spark plug hole. The hardest probably will be pulling the old seal off with the valve sticking in the way.
  12. Simple comp and lesk test will tell u.
  13. Yeah they can besides having to drill out the bolts that hold it in.
  14. Theres no reason for it to be any length, should of just got it with the flange and then constructed the rest to suit your setup.
  15. Just wondering for people who have reused a tomei HG what do you do about the black coating since when I took it off some of it had stuck to the head and block do you just scrap it all off the HG and use hymolar spray or just keep whatever black coating is left on the HG.
  16. Do you need it to be CAMS approved? If not your cheapest solution are the cusco jap cages they make ones that retain rear seats, otherwise yes you can make a proper ones that retains seats.
  17. They will work. The std studs are tricky because the thread into the manifold is 1.5 but the thread on the end that has the nut is 1.25.
  18. Yeah i learned the hardway lol bought genuine studs to go on my brae mani and noticed there not 1.25 pitch
  19. stock manifold is m10x1.5 pitch
  20. I still dont get why your trying overcomplicate the issue by trying to add mufflers into ur screamer when sinple solution you want sound like befre plumb it into exhuast.
  21. A couple of other pieces made intake pipe and cooler pipe to allow running the stock airbox.
  22. Is your waategate venting to atmo? If u plumb it back into tge exhast it will sound same as it did b4. Personally i love sound of gate and would never go back to normal sounding skuline again lol.
  23. Ive ended up blocking and going atmo, my main reason for doing this is as a test as I cant figure out why my intake and cooler is getting oil in it as turbo seals were checked are 100 percent fine and breather lines and catch can are empty so with this I can eliminate another option as to where the oil is coming from.
  24. Yeah that would work.
  25. The series 3 r33 which were 97 models came with the rb25 that used the neo CAS, if you have a loom that is from that actual motor than it will be fine if not then you just have to change a few wires for it to work with the s1 and s2 rb25 loom.
