  1. Dont know the reason why there not probably some bullshit rule.
  2. The gktech items are good. Rose joints are technically not roadworthy but not something common to be picked up on.
  3. Nup doesnt work like that, spacers spsce out your rack and alow extra travel but tierod ends no matter what length you adjust it the ssme to get desired toe
  4. Well if you fit the cams and you get the expected gains from it then there probably fine.
  5. on e85 350kw is safe on stock engine providing you have a good tune espcially for a street car no problem at all.
  6. Thats interesting. Will be good to see how much difference it makes now.
  7. Dont know if I missed something but why are your poncams needing to be dialled in? There drop in.
  8. Std size is 5/16 which is close enough to 8mm
  9. hey stao how much is that top mount brae manfiold you use worth?
  10. Well ive never seen that washer on any s chassis or r chassis racks. If youve put in the spacers and haven't adjusted the toe then your going to be toeing in by the width of the spacer so that will explain why your not hitting the stops.
  11. What car is this on? Just putting in these washers will not change anything its then depends on how much you trim the lockstops which will determine how much extra lock you get. If you end up using the all the 6mm extra with the lock stops off you will probably have bind but you will be able to see this when you see the angle of the tie rod end. It also depends on your alignment settings you can always back castor off to reduce bind aswell.
  12. For your budget the closest decent coilover I can suggest are the entry level bc racing ones for 1300.
  13. Theres nothing that comes with a ADR approved sticker on it if thats what you mean its bascially just up to you to make sure its 90db if you want it to be legal and pass, but doesnt really matter if it is or not because cops will report you on suspicion for exhuast sound as some people have been done on standard exhuast so theres not really a way to be 100 percent bullet proof on epa issues. Also take into account the stock exhuast is basically the loudest you could have and be legal since it is around the 89db mark.
  14. Theres a solonoid on the steering rack that controls the effort needed at higher and lower speeds that could be not working.
  15. Yeah only problem driftworks you lose the drum handbrake. Checked my other side just out of interest and cracks have already started at same place so yeah definately is a fatigue issue over sustained hard track use, thats what im doing now reinforceing like my modded front knuckles.
  16. suspension stuff engineer can sign off on it and over ride the rules but the exhust not under hes power that you have to deal with epa.
  17. And suspension wise anything rose jointed is not legal.
  18. Jasma means nothing in australia that is the japan standard.
  19. You either make the cage with box mounts under the hoop and front legs so when you remove them cage drops and you weld the top then put boxes back and weld it up or you cut a hole in your floor where the cage drops down and you weld the tops.
  20. Had an exact identical break yesterday in my 33 just snapped mid drift.
