  1. Yeah the edge will be fine you juzt have to be careful when car sits there for months without use but if your changing every couple of events shouldnt be a problem.
  2. You can use loctite if your paranoid but I just rattle gun mine up and in regards to the hub size the centrehub will be 66 if its for the skyline but what will change is depending on what size the bore on your rims are so in other words if your using the same rims you have now and they fit on your car with either stock bore or hubrings youll be right.
  3. shim it or weld it
  4. If your talking about doing everything in the suspension side of things then this is what I can think off; Front: castor bushes or adj castor arms LCA inner bush LCA ball joint UCA inner/outer bush or adj camber arms sway bar bushes and sway bar links rear: LCA inner bushes LCA ball joint upper camber arm inner/out bush or replace adj arm upper traction arm inner/outer bush or replace adj arm hicas rod end ball joint That will pretty much cover it.
  5. Thing is with cheap fibreglass ones like carmate you have hours and hours of labour having to putty up inperfections if you want it to look half decent I remember spending ages on my carmate kit but if you do yourself your losing labour but if you plan on a panel shop it will cost ya.
  6. Interesting information you wouldnt happen to know what grade aftermarket industries surge tanks are? Also when you say track cars sitting around for most of the time, what time frame are you talking about without starting the car for it to be in the zone of potentially becoming an issue for the pump and surge tank. I usually start my track car once a week and let it run for 20min or so to circulate the fuel and oil.
  7. Im pretty sure it would cant see any parts that would be different.
  8. You have castor arms for the gtst they are straight, gtr ones are curved as your standard ones. With the upper camber arms surely when you tighten it down the 3mm wont be an issue as it would close the gap.
  9. 130-150 sounds more like the price of a tie rod the ends are 25 ring bursons.
  10. I would think it wouldnt work as the solonoid would be calibrated to the specific controlletr.
  11. Exedy clutches are relatively cheap and there is nothing wrong with them as said above the HHHDB is really strong and is what I use and no problems at other 300 but you would be able to use the cushion button with 250kw which is a bit more friendly on road driving of even HHDB will do. I had a exedy oem replacement and it was running 300kw and would only slip if you clutch kick 3rd or 4th so they are good clutches.
  12. I also reckon its the head to block aligners looks like it.
  13. Yeah you can trim them down but if you plan on doing knuckles in the future or lengthing the lca then you will need the extra length you have now.
  14. The gktech ones are good they are hub centric just make you have the hub rings for the rim and youll have no issues.
  15. If good quality hubcentric ones you wont have an issue
  16. I reckon would be easier just mod your current loom to fit.
  17. The issue is not just getting defected for the pod and clearing it by swapping over but its also the cop will probably give you a major defect for it just to be a dick which means youll need a roady too now that could possibly make things much harder then just swapping over pod espcially these days.
  18. 235 on a 10 inch will be fine and a nice stretch but i wouldnt go more.
  19. Just checked the catalogue and yep you can use it just not recomended for in cabins.
  20. Well your normal standard rubber hoses that are used in cars are the same they let out a smell aswell, I guess vapour is not the best word more let off a smell. Its strange I checked on the website and previously it used to say 100 200 and the normal rubber hoses can be used with fuel but only the 200 if its in cabin but now it just says not suitable for fuel would be interesting to see what has changed.
  21. I didnt mean you can use the fittings, you cant use 100 fitting on 200hose they are different, what I meant was you can use 100 series hose instead of 200 the only reason it is not recomended because it lets out petrol vapour if the hoses are in cabin.
  22. You can use the 100 series hose they just dont guarantee that it wont give out a vapour smell.
