  1. You need to put a hole on the new piping if it doesnt already have it, you cant block it cause you need the source for boost control, unless your turbo has a nipple on it then your gonna need a new one in your piping
  2. Yeah man stick away from caltex and all those little places, stick to mobil 8000 ultimate or v power Ive never had probelms with them others had trouble
  3. the only other thing is the the arc airbox not sure about the induction noise on them would imange would be evident since the lid of it is open. im also running stock airbox 270kw no probelm and I got a blitz panel filter and still get good induction noise on boost
  4. So you cant even bend parts even if you heat it? What happens to it then when fibreglass is heated doesnt it get soft?

I dont know ecactly about this kit in particlar but what I have seen is usually people who are going for the 32 34 conversion it never fits exactly theres alot of customisation work and the time put into this will determine the end product. Since it is not just a kit made to put on your car it is more custom so you really gotta work your ass of to make it look good , cause they can either end up really well or really bad, there a thread in the i think fabrication thread about some guy doing it to hes r32 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Eb...on-t255824.html there the link have a look at it to see the work hes gone through, but yeah my opinion unless your really good at bodywork and custom stuff or are gona take it somewhere reptuable where your prepared to pay its not worth it
  6. Was the car running rough? cause when the injectors orings wearnt done right ull find it really running rough on idle
  7. Fitting my new fibreglass rear bar and the rear pods are a few mm short of sitting flush inside the rear bar so I was finking can I heat up the rear pod to bring the shape out abit more to get abit more room or will i ruin it by heating it?

  10. Yeah if you want to rebuild it go see hypergear he does great work or if you want to go new 3076 try gcg, hpi and various workshops , crd and try to find the best price
  11. yeah if hes got the stock airbox its hard to see under all that snorkel and stuff and yeah ive painted mine black theres no chance of telling its metal unless you go and touch it
  12. If its spiking that bad youve prob mixed up the actuaor to turbo lines, the turbo tech are reasonaably good and reliable you should not be spiking like that

The ecu is just there to be able to tune and change settings there is no minimum requirement of what you need to run it, it can be tuned to run on whatever you, but if your car is leaning out hiting injector duty or afm maxing out than thats a different story you need to upgrade those things to keep going but yeah as you said 10psi with your mods keeping the stock parts and power fc will be fine , maybe just chucking it on the dyno to check you af ratios to be sure.
  14. Just make a metal intake pipe first it will be better because it will be 3 inch and second its metal so no chance or getin sucked shut on hi boost , ive made my custom pipe modelled on the stock one and am still using th airbox
  15. Yeah I was thinking its to expensive the only reason I was looking at this one because I havnt found any other manifolds that hold the turbo in the exact same postion as stock one.

  17. Was looking at exhuast manifolds and was looking at this hpi one at just jap priced for 1700 which says it keeps the exact stock postion. Now my question is is this a worthwhile to consider getting considering I got the usual mods turbo injectors ecu etc. 270kw , How much more benifet could I receive over the stock manifold?

It all depends on how you time it, When I entered easternats past 2 years I drove there and home everyday and its true cops are everywhere dicking people going in and going out or even specataors lookin for parking which is the majority of who get done. I avoided never geting pulled over in the last two nats while coming and leaving everyday and also with blad tyres since I didnt have room to take rims and jack with me everyday. But what I noticed was when you get there early like 8-9am cop attention is really low then from about 10-1 its packed then once again dies up to about 5pm which is when they wait for everyone to leave so i just left at around 3-4pm everyday and yeah dont put your plates and stuff while your driving during the event.

  21. If you the hi flow you wont really need anything else besides recommend to upgrade your intake pipe to metal one so it doesnt fold in on higher boost and the dump should b fine a high flow.
  22. Reading by what you said I would also recommend a hi flow and I can recommend hypergear since im using there products and im happy with it and to get it tuned I really recommend trent at status tuning
  23. Dont quote me on this but I think people have said on the gtrs the stock dumps are pretty good not like the gtsts
  24. Should use lifting straps for heavier weights its easy on your hands. My routine for dead lifts is 6 sets start light with one plate and each set increasing antoher plate and eventually geting to max where 1 or 2 reps.
  25. As long as my freind stays away from knox and rowville he should be fine lol
