  1. Yeah keep us posted on how your one goes when its done, where you gettings it tuned? well I havnt driven it but I got someone else to drive it and once comes onto boost pulls hard torque was 470nm or something it kicks you back and yeah as I said you hit full boost at 3900 , i cant remeber when the stock one hits full boost but yeah you can use that as a comparission. Tuner said could of got prob another 20kw with adding abit more timing into it but didnt do it due to variance in petrol when you refill cause if you got a bad tank cause detonation.
  2. +1 for the just jap stealth ones
  3. Drill the holes I wouldnt be relying on the other stuff on its own its not a big deal your just drilling inside the wheell arcs so its not a big deal two or three screws will hold it if you rdat worried about rust then put abit of paint with a touchup brush and use the other stuff to secure the kit even further
  4. baset- Thanks but im in the same boat as you cant drive cause dont have my lincese back atm lol so thats so annoying just having to look at it for another 5months. Geraus-I think mine made more power then yours because mine wasnt a hi flow stao said it was a 500hp turbo with 0.63 rear. Im interested now to see what results hypergears new atr43 g3 can make.
  5. The one that I bought cost me 1080 at the time with the oil line and ye it hits full boost at 3900 so not to bad ofcouse not as responsive as a stock one , but yeah they both do good jobs so it just comes down to your decision but I think hypergear is cheaper
  6. Hey guys finaly got the car tuned today at status tuning. Mods are JJR stealth intercooler, nismo 555 injectors, z32, blitz ebc, power fc, nismo fuel pump, full 3.5inch exhust, hypergear tr43i turbo. The car made 265kw on 17.5psi , I will upload the dynosheets when i get the computer with the scanner fixed, I am very happy with how the car feels. Thanks to trent at status tuning for hes great work and service and thanks to hypergear for a good turbo, also just for interest I am running hypergears old version of hes new atr43 g3 turbo so Im sure with hes new one you can expect even greater results.
  7. if the bcpr6es is missfiring at 0.8 how about just try bcpr7es at 0.8 and see how u go
  8. Yeah i agree get a just jap return flow one they are cheap stock piping and do the job quite well and also no cutting and yeah i also finally gave up and went back to stock airbox would always get done for pod and fmic with the boost controoler its eazy enough to hide it somewhere in the engine bay just be creative even under the stock snorkel is good enough and the boost controller in the car usualy doesnt attract much attention as they assume its the turbo timer but if you really wana hide that to then yeah stick it in the fuse box or ashtray
  9. +1 for what he did^ works perferctly fine except I soldered my wires just for extra securtiy but if you want a connector thats fine to as long as its connected correctly anyway will do
  10. got to love the feeling of shifting gears with the wheels frying up ahhaha makes me excited for how my 33 will be this week after the tune after a long wait of building it up shame I wont be able to drive it for another 6months. Definatily get the 555cc injectors there really good
  11. makes me sorta happy im currently in the middle of a 12 month suspension since the last year has been the wrost time
  12. I cannot see any purpose or real reason this could have for being done on the skyline since all the extra effort and everything that is involved and you still wont have any gains as to having the turbo setup in the enigne and even if it is for hiding purposes where would stick the intercoller under the car aswell and what if the cop looks under the car as they usualy do when looking if too low so as I said i cant see any real reasons for this
  13. You dont have to come onto boost hard to break the turbo it just the luck of when it dies mine died at crusing shfiting at 3000 then started making a whislting noise when trying to boost
  14. all you need is the copper washers as they were with the factory turbo
  15. hrmmm ill probably just put in motul turbolight like i usualy do since I know it works well
  16. yeah i guess thats what I was sorta thinking aswel might aswel get it tuned the way its gona be run later
  17. I usually use motul turbolight oil in my car but I am changing the oil for the tune and I have some penrite hpr15w-60 here and wanting to use this since the oil is just for the tune then the car will be sitting around for 6months so I dont want to go spend 60bux on oil that is basically for one day for tune you rekon this will be alright for the tune?
  18. How much for the high pressure actuator?
  19. that turbo that your talking about is the hypergear one and they are good turbos for there price but as pual said if you want only 250 then a hi flow would be a better option since keeps it looking more stock and less fabrication in intallation but if you want more power down the track will be better to go for the atr43
  20. Like the others have said unless it really is loud and getting worse then wait until you do a full clutch change I bought my car and it had the noise and 50000 kms on still hasnt got worse so ill be changing it soon with the clutch
  21. no brainer r34 if you want that power with less money and ease of getting it and with nice rims and bodykit the r34 looks great as with all the other skylines they all look prety plane stock standard unless its a gtr but can all be made to look nice.
  22. my work in progress
  23. You can always get them from nissan but any turbo palce should have a t3 gasket
  24. go to chasers on chapel street
